Decent meal

November 2008 Visited here w a gf for a short trip to Boston. We split a burger & it was pretty good. Service was excellent. It's worth stopping in to be able to say you've been there.

Lots of diners, real good calamari and chicken wings with our drinks. Just what you have seen on the famous tv show.

On touring Boston, we had to stop for drinks and a snack at Cheers. While it provided a photo op and to say we've been there, the food wasn't anything special. It's worth going once to say you've been. Note the bar does not look the same as the one on TV.

I had already been to the original building that inspired the show when, a few days later we cam across this place. It is disappointing to say the least.

Had lunch at Cheers. We did not have to wait for a table and the server was great and she even gave us a free plate of starters on the house!!! it was nice to be in a famous location - The food was good and tasty and they even had vegetarian options. - The service was quick and sharp... More

Cheers was nothing out of this world. You get excited to see the place because of the TV show, but the food was mediocre. I had the clam chowder and it was too oily and thick. Just take a picture with the indian and move on to an actual good restaurant in Boston, like Anthem Kitchen and Bar.

The bar was set up just like the tv show, but it was in a shopping mall. The food was ok, it seemed a little over priced. The bartender was nice to chat with (there were only 5 people in the bar). The gift shop was cool, and I picked up a t-shirt. I couldn't help but think that the... More

This looks just like the TV show set, and there is also a gift shop there too where you can buy everything Cheers.

We loved walking around and seeing Faneuiel Hall and it was great to have dinner at Cheers. We did not have to wait for a table, and had very prompt and awesome service! The food was tasty, but the prices were a bit high. I suppose that's what you get for eating at a famous place. I would have purchased... More

We stopped in for a beer, just to say we stopped at the Cheers bar. We went at an off time, and the place was PACKED. After a brief wait, we were able to get a seat at the bar and had a couple of beers in the infamous dimpled glasses. Not cheap, but neat atmosphere, it's worth a stop.... More
