We stopped in for a beer, just to say we stopped at the Cheers bar. We went at an off time, and the place was PACKED. After a brief wait, we were able to get a seat at the bar and had a couple of beers in the infamous dimpled glasses. Not cheap, but neat atmosphere, it's worth a stop.... More

Met up with friends here while visiting Boston. The staff couldn't be more friendly or accommodating. We had a bite to eat. I had the creamy pasta with broccoli. It could have used a little more seasoning, but overall, it was ok. The beers were cold, the atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was great. Will definitely be back.

The bar is set up to replicate the movie set and is different from the Beacon Hills outside replica. I've had great service no matter how busy it is. If you order a souvenir mug with your beer, they'll give you a nice clean boxed one to take with you.

Loved this place - it's a replica of the original bar (at Beacon Hill) but don't expect it to be the same as the show. Plenty of Cheers memorabilia and opportunities for photos!

In its own right then it would be struggling to appeal. Big gazebo, cold and poor greasy food. But this place had raised the bar to be a replica of Cheers, therefore it has fallen flat as the atmosphere couldn't be more sterile if it tried. Tables lined up, storage boxes piled against windows and on the lower bar. Temperature... More

The (main) photo here is decieving - this location is actually not the filming location. It was made to look more like the set and is about a 20 minute walk from the actual bar. Its not bad though, pretty touristy and busy. Food was fine though a little pricey. For my buck I'll head to the other location. Its... More

If you don't want to eat on Quincy Market because of the people (at lunch and dinner times is always full and you don't find place to sit) this is a good and accessible option! I asked for one of the day specials and it was awesome! Also they have a lot of good drinks (+21) and the coke and... More

Visiting from the UK. Went for novelty value to be honest. Bit expensive for food (to be expected) but was ok. Worth doing if you're in the area but wouldn't recommend going out of your way - there are plenty of great places to eat in Boston.

Things atrted ok as clam chowder was fairly nice but entrees were very poor, burger was served raw inside and cold (had been sitting around) whilst a fisherman's platter was a mound of chips and coleslaw topped with some so-so seafood. Redeemed somewhat with a generous dessert but service was attentive (waitress tried) but the waiting staff had a long... More
