Cheers - predictable but a required stop

While in Boston, you must have a drink "where everybody knows your name" - Cheers! A predictable stop on your visit to Boston - have a beer on tap and enjoy a loaded plate of nachos with it!

I have been here many times and have always been very happy, I would not go back. On July 30th I brought friends who were down from Maine after a long day of being a tourist. Wonderful time, excellent food and drink and outstanding service....Jen B was one of the nicest and most efficient waitresses we have ever had. We... More

We went into the Quincy market not knowing what to expect and some member of my family got overwhelmed with all the chaos. We ducked into Cheers because it had its own seating and was off from the crowds. We went into thinking that, because it was a well known tourist trap type restaurant, it would be mediocre at best... Location is great with excellent atmosphere . Food was tasty with big potions . Good selection of beer and prices were not cheap but I would say reasonable for a tourist location . Will eat here again in the future

Sixteen years ago we ate at the other one in Beacon Hill & it was good. First time to this one. We just had a drink & an appetizer but the atmosphere was great as well as the service & food. We use to watch Cheers on tv so it was really cool to go there. Would recommend.

It was on my list of things to see in Boston. Went on a Saturday afternoon and although it looked like every outside table was filled and a line to sit at tables we walked right in and sat at the bar, Fun atmosphere with all the cheers jokes between customers sitting and bar Just had Burgers and beer burger... My husband and I were on a bus trip with about 40 people. The restaurant seated us all together and it was a limited menu for us. The food was average, but the service was excellent, the waitress was extremely accommodating and nice. The only downside was the place was extremely loud!!
