We stopped in this bar on our recent trip to Boston. It was near our hotel and the sign read "Friendliest Bar in Boston". It was not friendly at all. The bar wasn't very busy, and the two bartenders barely acknowledged us. We ordered a couple of drinks, an order of mozzarella sticks and an order of "fresh baked pretzels".... More

Great bar, with in unbelievably friendly staff. Food and beers were cheap and tasty, don't expect fine dining. If your lucky the security guy David will be working he's an absolute star. Would definitely return

Great find on our walk back to hotel on the last night (why do you always find these places when you have to leave?) Our server was sweet and looked after us . Food portions were huge. On our trip in June we will return.

We were on our way to our restaurant and popped in here for a drink. Great atmosphere and very friendly barman ;-)

Friendliest pub in the hub, I don't think so. We sat and the bar and felt more of an inconvenience than a customer, though the staff seemed incredibly friendly to the locals. However we were ignored when asking for the bill twice, no thank you, we left at decent 20% tip and didn't even acknowledge us or say thanks when... More

Long wait for food and drinks. The wait staff worked hard but there weren't enough of them to keep up,. Food was mixed. My fish and chips featured excellent fresh fish, atop crappy frozen French fries.

I was recommended to the Hub Pub by a waiter in an upmarket seafood restaurant. He told me I would not get a better lobster roll in Boston. He was right. This is a friendly, lively, local pub close to Downtown Crossing. Good atmosphere. I'll certainly return.

I went here by chance the other night after wandering on the Tline. It was handy to the station and looked welcoming. The service was good, the food was average, the pricing was too high to for quality. As a result, I doubt a return trip while traveling for business in Boston.

We were there on a weekday at lunch and the fact that every place in the area was jammed packed and this was pretty empty should have said everything. Waitress wasn't friendly, food just average. Sign says friendliest pub in the hub - maybe that means just that little street. We wouldn't return, too many other good placed to pick... More

Really nice pub. Excellent selection on tap and Awesomely have the best gluten free beer! Unfortunately the bartender paid very little attention to us. We would have liked an appetizer before our show at the orpheum, but we were not even offered a menu. 1 drink then ignored us for a half an hour. Too bad
