Little pub a few blocks from Boston Common by Beacon Hill. Found this place on my last night in town and loved it. Kind of a dive but reasonably priced drinks and a nice atmosphere. The doorman that night, David, was quite a character. Full of energy and singing along with the jukebox and other patrons. Very fun guy. All... More

Okay, so my friends and I went after working a long, rainy day at the Boston Marathon. It was busy, but we were able to get a table upstairs. Candace, our waitress, was a sweet young lady who was able to guide us through what was good and what was okay - nothing was bad, according to her. We ordered... More

It's a very cool place with overhanging theater balconies over the bar. Long u shape bar provides much seating and a few table around. Ice cold beer and not bad prices. Located close to Park St T stop as well.

As all the other bars in my neighborhood are a bit uptight, I went searching for somewhere I could just relax and drink a beer- wearing jeans and a tshirt vs a cocktail dress. This place was great. The bouncer at the door was immediately friendly with us and invited us inside. It was a bit crowded, but not nearly... More

We stumbled on the hub pub on our last night. It had a great atmosphere and although we did not eat there, the food looked really good. Service was also good!

We stopped in this bar on our recent trip to Boston. It was near our hotel and the sign read "Friendliest Bar in Boston". It was not friendly at all. The bar wasn't very busy, and the two bartenders barely acknowledged us. We ordered a couple of drinks, an order of mozzarella sticks and an order of "fresh baked pretzels".... More

Great bar, with in unbelievably friendly staff. Food and beers were cheap and tasty, don't expect fine dining. If your lucky the security guy David will be working he's an absolute star. Would definitely return
