Stopped here down the street from the Omni Parker House hotel. Nice, friendly neighborhood pub, bartender was very friendly, we talked sports while we watched pre-season football. We had seen the Yankees/Redsox game the night before so that was some lively conversation. He suggested several different beer selections as my son & I were on a mini pub crawl around... More

We went here a few times and were treated like family. Bartender Dan was awesome. It felt like we had known him for years. We made friends, danced (purely because its a great little pub... not a dancing place... we just had that much fun), juke box and a lot of drunken hugs by fellow patrons and good food. Will... More

Known as the friendliest pub in the hub. The people visiting the pub were friendly, not so sure about the staff...The food was ample for the price. I had a greek salad and it was huge with lots of fresh veggies and feta. It was very good. My girls got a tuna fish sandwich and it fed both of them.... More

Hub Pub The food is and the drinks are good enough here but the real reason you want to go to Hub Pub is to be entertained by the fun and very friendly Dave the bouncer. Early in the evening he gets the entire bar singing along to Piano Man. This is the bar where you walk in and everyone... More

Had a Silence Dogood each - sort of Greek salad in a tortilla wrap with coleslaw on the side. Scrumptious and very filling for lunch. I had Sam Adams Brick Red (only available locally I was told) which was rich with a hint of sweetness - good if you like a beer with some body, which I do. My wife... More

Excellent food, service and reasonably priced. A definite stop for the tourist and locals. Fun too! A little out of the way but well worthwhile. Plenty of TV's to watch and the music was great!

The sign outside reads "The friendliest pub in the hub", we found the prices and atmosphere to meet that criteria. Only $5 for the house wine...WOW, in Boston; a drink for $5? Killer! Tried the homemade chips and salsa, yummy. Plenty of television and "wall nostalgia" to look at. The pub is in the basement of an old Boston Building... More

I've gone to the Hub Pub twice this past year, just by chance when walking around Boston. I'm so glad I came across it! For 15 bucks I got a lobster roll and Sam Adams Brick Red, an ale only available within certain mileage of the Sam Adams brewery. A true Boston bar, the majority of the space is taken... More
