Recently, we ate here following a U2 concert. The place is nothing to look at since it is the basement of a building. However, it was busy with some locals which is always a good sign. We sat in the bar area & our server was attentive despite the amount of people. The margaritas were good. Chips... read more

I'm not generally a fan of Mexican food but we found this place on a roasting hot day at Quincy Market and it was lovey and cool inside. The food was great, prices great for the centre of Boston and the staff were very friendly. We stayed to watch some tennis in the bar after our meal - this place... More

I went here earlier this week with a group of friends from work. The queso dip and fresh nacho chips and salsa were delicious. Their margaritas are delicious (especially the strawberry). For dinner, I got the grilled chicken fajitas that came with a plate of sour cream, pinto beans, guacamole, rice, salsa, and a container with flour tortilla shells. I... More

While recently in Boston, my husband and I dined at Zuma. I liked the ambiance of it being in a "basement" of one of the marketplace buildings. I have to say that the dim lighting did make it difficult to read the menu and the menu was pretty extensive including traditional favorites and Texas BBQ. They have a huge list... More

So this was not the BEST Mexican food I have ever had nor the WORST Mexican food. Just ok. Guacamole was decent, had a lot of onions in it and you can tell that it wasn't just made, like the way a real Mexican restaurant would do. Food was also passable, portions were pretty big - you can share a... More

Used to be a decent place but i really did not like it being so dark and dingy. Place needs a good cleaning. Turn the lights up and repair the seats that are ripped. Disappointed. I would have just paid more elsewhere

Had a girls' lunch here on a Saturday afternoon in the city. All of us were raving about what an excellent lunch we had there. If you are not looking for Zuma, you will miss it. It is on the far side of Faneuil Hall, through a doorway and down into the basement. Do get the pitchers of margarita as... More

Complimentary salsa they give you with chips when you sit down was tasty but nothing fabulous, all four of us got something different and everything was fine but nothing that would make me say wow! Don't know if I'd go back with so many options to try in the area. Nothing negative but nothing to rave about either.

We tried Zuma for the first time last night. Service was fine, food was good, and prices were good, too. I had the vegetable enchiladas, and the 7 layer dip was tried. A couple of blended margaritas - an inexpensive meal out!

Stopped in for lunch with my husband while cruising Quincy market. Guacamole burger was terrific and the menu says you have a choice of fries or a potato pancake. What a treat so I ordered one. The waitress came back to the table to tell us the cook told her that they have never served potato pancakes. Then take it... More
