Good grub

A good place to stop for lunch, dinner or even just drinks. The outdoor seating area provides good people watching opportunities and the location is excellent for tourists. We had a really great lunch there. Fried shrimp and burgers were great. It's located right in Faneuil hall next to Quincy market. We got to sit outside and got to enjoy the view and people watch. Good eats !!

Had diner there and ordered a casserole dish with lobster which seemed ok and tasted ok however it was served with a side dish rice and I was served with the bottom of the rice pan which had very hard rice which was un-eatable. I ordered a glass of prosecco but they ran out. Had a glass of white wine... More

Visited the Salty Dog for the second time this weekend. The service was great. We were seated very quickly, had our drink orders taken immediately and our waiter was generally very attentive. The food come out quick; I ordered the lobster tetrazzini which had generous chunks of fresh lobster. Salty Dog is a nice spot for a quick meal while... More

Went on a Saturday night we sat outside. Ordered a privateer which is a cocktail specialty drink and it was delicious! We also ordered clam chowder and the mug portion was good enough for me and my husband to share. We then had the dinner platter calamari and scallops they were both very fresh and delicious!!

Nice team. Very good food. If you are hungry and you are not very far from the Quincy Market, it's very good idea to have your lunch there!

We had an early dinner here. Hint: apparently part of what influenced the flow of the crowds at restaurants in this area is when the tour boats come in. We were lucky and got to the restaurant between ships. I had the lobster sandwich which was ok. My husband had the lobster tetrazzini which was very rich. Our drinks were... More

We stopped here as a family. Me, my wife and our 17 month old son. The staff were accomodating and helpful. Nice spot for people watching. We went for the clam sandwich, fried fish sandwich and a child's portion of fish and chips. The clams were nice but the fish didn't seem very fresh and actually unite dry . The... More

Stopped here for lunch at the recommendation of a colleague. He was right on. A fun, friendly server - great food - awesome beer - and a warm, cozy vibe (inside). A couple of days later, we hit the outside area for snacks and drinks. Same good service, same good food, and same awesome beer. The fabulous sunshine only added... More
