Quite good

Great - and I mean great - food and drinks! Wonderful atmosphere. Only suggestion: super nice waitress put my fork on the table when switching dishes, not on a napkin.

Everything was top notch! From the service to the food. We dined last night (Feb 28) and had an amazing time. The Buttermilk fried chicken and the salmon were to die for, and some of the best we've had in the city. Will definitely be coming back and recommending it to our friends. A must visit if you are in... More

Dinner was inedible and the service was worse. Basically a bar that unfortunately considers itself a restaurant. There are many great restaurants to choose from so save your $$ and go to one of the excellent places nearby.

We had an excellent brunch here with friends. The place is set up with living room arrangements so it makes for a fun and casual vibe, but the food and drinks were not slacking. The bloody mary was one of the best, if not the best, that I've ever had. And I've had a few in my day...

We hosted a 5 year HS reunion here and it was great! The owners were very helpful and professional during our planning and on the night of the event. The atmosphere was excellent, with a more laid-back vibe earlier in the evening and then dancing and a DJ as the night went on. Appetizers were tasty and the drinks were... More

Had my wife's surprise 30th birthday party at the Living Room this last Saturday. It was great all around. We had 20 people total and there were other multiple groups in the dining area, including a 50+ private party, but the service remained attentive and on top of food and drink orders despite my group having separate drink tabs. I... More

We were there on a quiet Sunday evening on a coupon but the food was great and creative with a nice atmosphere. I would return and pay full price.

The portion size was not what I expected for the price and the description. Even at that, I can take a small portion if the food is great, but 3 overcooked scallops does not a meal make. I won't return.

The Living Room, which is in the North End of Boston, competes with a lot of other restaurants in the area. If you do get a chance to eat here take it the food is wonderful and the place is comfortable! There is a new chef there and he has added his own flare to the food. If you do... More
