The Living Room, which is in the North End of Boston, competes with a lot of other restaurants in the area. If you do get a chance to eat here take it the food is wonderful and the place is comfortable! There is a new chef there and he has added his own flare to the food. If you do... More

I ate in the dining room section of the restaurant. The service was extremely slow, the drinks orders were incorrect, and the meals were served far apart so the entire table couldn't eat together. The waitress took so long to bring over a straw (for a drink that should have come with one in the first place) that one of... More

I celebrated my 50th birthday at the Living Room in March. I had 50 guests, lots of appetizers, an open bar and a photo booth (which I brought in myself). I could not be happier with the way the party went. John arranged for me to have the VIP Room, so it felt like we were in a private party... More

Lovely peaceful setting near the fireplace, with an exciting vib around the bar. Healthy, good tasting food. "paint night" on Mondays, especially fun!

Last Saturday night we threw an engagement party at The Living Room for my son and daughter -in -law to be. I could have not been more pleased with the entire event and the planning leading up to the event. I have thrown many parties in the Boston area and this was the best experience that I have ever had.... More

We were looking for an early (5:30pm) dinner in the neighborhood because we had plans at 7.. Unfortunately traffic delayed us until 6- everyone was so accomodating from the manager to our server to the kitchen. We had a delightful dinner and didn't feel rushed, despite the state we arrived. I would imagine if this occurred during peak time it... More

Went to the Living Room for the first time to celebrate a friends' birthday. I only heard good things about it,so we decided to give it a try. The Lounge area is very chic, with nice big sofas to sit and talk with friends while having a drink. The dining room area was modern and inviting. I ordered the Steak... More

Went here for brunch the other morning. I had strawberry pancakes and my husband had the most amazing turkey sandwich, it just tasted absolutely gorgeous. The staff were really friendly as well. We had a couple of glasses of champagne after in the lounging area (had eaten in the dining area) and that was really pleasant as well. Good value... More

This place is perfect for an after work drink with friends. My friends and I typically go here on Tuesday nights for trivia and some drinks. Drinks and atmosphere are good, unfortunately cannot say the same thing for their food. The first time here I had the sliders and curly fries. The burgers were cold and dry and the curly... More

This is a fun little spot that we discovered during a recent 'Martini Crawl' before a meal in the North End. We didn't try the food, but the martini menu was extensive. As might be contrued by the name of the place, the Living Room has an extensive bar area, including several living room chairs. We tried the "Strawberry Shortcake"... More
