Have been here a couple of times and took some clients to experience authentic indian food. Though major of the staff was actually Nepali, they did dish up some good Indian food. The price is reasonable too and one can have a good time for official or personal visits. Located at a popular square just off one of the exits... More

I have been here on my first ever trip to USA. My taste buds were getting desperate to have some thing Indian. This place came at google and I visited here with a collegue. I find ambience OK, staff well behaved, food came in proper time to our desk. And it taste good, much better than what I was expecting.... More

The fusion cuisine offered here was surprisingly good however our waiter is what made the experience a bit sour. She was bitter and seemed like she would rather be anywhere but there. The ambiance was simply delightful and neat. Very romantic if that is what you are looking for. Bathrooms are also well kept - something I get fussy about... More

Cocktails were superb - my Tamarind Margarita (and I am a purist who normally likes the Classic Margarita)was spectacular. We ordered solely from the Naan Bar Menu - fusion food - because we wanted something different to regular Indian food (which we cook at home - makes us very fussy!!) Enjoyed the green apple and potato Chaat, smokey chipotle chicken... More

Early Saturday eve dinner since we had an online coupon. Cool setting, a former huge bank. Meal was good but not outstanding.

Went with our family because it's one of our favorites in Boston, The food is always good but our waiter kept getting lost. Our drinks took forever to come. and forget about ordering more rounds. Wasn't worth the aggravation. Good food + bad waiter = just average dinner.

The food was excellent. The service was average. It was a preset menu, so he really didn't have to do much work. They added on a 20% gratuity for two people. I didn't like that I was not given the choice of what to tip. The service was borderline, since we didn;t get one of courses, plus another course was... More

I'm somewhat surprised by some of the lukewarm previous reviews. The evening we went we had very prompt and friendly service, and the food was among the best Indian I have ever eaten outside of India ... Perhaps people were eating off of their short menu, whereas their longer menu has more authentic Indian food - try that.

Not your typical Indian food, but that's what makes Mantra more appealing to lunch crowds. Well, that and very reasonably priced all you can eat. All that in one of the coolest lounges in Boston.
