Stopped for lunch on the patio after a whale watch Aug 1st. I live in Boston and seemed to remember good dining at the Chart House 20+ years ago but haven't been for ages. This visit was really disappointing and embarrassing as I had visitors from London with me. The hostess did not speak good English and had difficulty understanding... More

Was at first concerned doe to hostesses who showed a lack of interest in customers, but ended up with a wonderful Brazilian waitress who made up for the hostesses. She went out of her way to see that we had a pleasant dining experience. Ate stuffed mushrooms, crab, mango, avacado salad, coconut shrimp (all delicious) and finished off with lava... More

The Chart House Boston on the Long Wharf is in an awesome location with terrific ambiance. We went on a summer evening and sat outside. The positive aspects end there. Our service was terribly slow. 2 1/2 hours + for dinner with an 8 year old boy. Can you imagine?! Thank goodness he’s a great kid and can sit still.... More

We are regulars at the Chart House around the country and expect to have great service, good food and great atmosphere...tonight was the exception at the Boston Chart House. It was the last night of our trip, and we wanted it to be a special occasion--it was anything but.... The hostess by the name of Nichole thought it was a... More

My boyfriend and I went to the Chart House when we were in Boston for Memorial Day. We had the New England Clam Chowder and it was AMAZING! It was easily the best chowder that we have ever had. We even got some to go for afterward. Also, if you go, you HAVE TO try the Lava Cake. It was... More

We were walking around and found ourselves by the waterfront so we stopped here for a nice late dinner. It was pretty chilly with the wind off the water, but the only available seats in the next hour were outside. what made it even worse was the food service was painfully slow. the waitress was nice and apologetic but she... Made reservation at the Chart House last month for New Years Eve. Having read previous reviews where some reservations were lost, I was relieved that ours was still in place. Arrived at 825pm for 830pm reservation. Had to take a seat in bar, and was caled after about 15 mins, so not too much problem. The service was very efficent,... More

We were celebrating our 1st anniversary on New Years Eve by taking in Boston on a fun and fantastic day/evening of First Night activities! I wanted to top the day off by having a romantic dinner near where the midnight fireworks were going to take place. So, I made a 10PM reservation at the Chart House figuring 2 hours would... More

We went here for lunch. It is in a very good location right beside the aquarium and the building itself is historical. The food was OK, huge portions if you're up for that with options for deep fried or more healthy choices.
