Great place before a show

Parked in the same building that the restaurant was in and then walked to the Oprah house to see Motown. Gave ourselves plenty of time to have a relaxing dinner with friends. Service was good , food was good but best of all was the convenience. Big windows all around so you could see helicopters... read more

I held my 40th b-day part at Blu for 20 of my friends. Everything from the setting, service and food was absolutely fantastic. Prior to the party, I had emailed the restaurant and coordinated the party with Danyella. She was extremely accommodating and was open to several suggestions I had in order make the experience truly memorable. The view of... More

This restaurant is in the Ritz Hotel on an upper floor with full windows overlooking what was once the shopping area of Boston, now in redevelopment. It is casual dining and the food was excellent, as was the service.

Everything we read said that the HUB had the best view of Boston. Probably so during the day (although the food was horrible) but Blu at night cant be missed! We had dinner here for my birthday and the food was unreal. We asked for a seat with a view and were given the table overlooking the Paramount and Opera... More

I was there 13 years ago and mistakenly figured it would have held up. My first inkling that something was wrong was when we arrived there was no host. I peeked around the corner to see one couple at the bar, no bartender.. We walked deeper into the restaurant and a friendly waiter took notice. He tried to find our... More

We had a party of six. Easy walk to the theater district. The food was great but the service was lacking (and it was not busy). We have eaten here a few times. It can be noisy though-acoutics can be problematic.

If your looking for a good place to eat in Boston's theater district, look no further. Great atmosphere, friendly service and my husband, a nonfish eater, said the best Fried calamari and ahi tuna salad he has ever had. A little pricey, but worth it!

My sister held her wedding in the Boston Public Gardens and then her reception and dinner immediately following at Blu. The reception was held on the balcony overlooking the park and city, which was simply beautiful in the early evening. Blu provided everything for both the reception and dinner, including space for dancing! Drinks, food, service, atmosphere - all were... More

Now I just read some of the negative reviews from 1 and 2 years ago and these bad experience might have changed our minds if you read the reviews first. Long waits, water down drinks, poor wine list, inexperienced-uninformed staff,.... We didn't find any of these problems as had a good dinner with a good waiter and our food was... More
