A chocolate lover's dream!

Went with my sister-in-law to the Chocolate Bar at Cafe Fleuri in the Hotel Langham for a mid-winter pick-me-up, and all our chocolate wishes were fulfilled! We tried a little bit of everything, from chocolate fondue fountain to dark chocolate creme brulee, crepes made to order with white, dark... read more

We were a bit confused and then disappointed. We had asked our waiter if there was food and were told no, the food was downstairs. Our plan was to have lunch and then go to the chocolate buffet afterwards, not for the chocolate buffet to be our lunch. It was difficult to enjoy all that chocolate for a meal instead... More

The hotel's main restaurant. The breakfast menu was very comprehensive and all of the selections we had during our business meeting were excellently presented and tasted very good

Met a colleague her for a business lunch. Service was prompt and the menu, which focuses on signature burgers, has additional fare for those that want something lighter. I had the lobster roll and it was outstanding. I recommend!

I enjoy the service and the food but the ambiance is marvelous. I have only had breakfast and lunch here but hope to try a dinner in the near future. Servers are great. Mark is a fixture here - over 20 years I think. I hope they are here for another 20.

I went to Cafe Fleuri for the Chocolate Bar and although it is a little on the pricey side it was some of the best chocolate I ever had--there is a lot of diversity of different desserts and all of the desserts are well crafted. In addition the New England Clam Chowder is some of the best chowder I ever... More

Went here for the chocolate afternoon tea buffet and it was fab. You can't possibly eat everything that's on offer, but what we managed to sample was excellent, from the chocolate pancakes to the ice cream, candy floss and selection of chocolate cakes and puddings. The setting is great and the live jazz band adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Plenty... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
