Great

Good food and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and very good food came quickly. If you have children do the childrens museum then eat here, they're very close.

Had dinner here with my husband's co-workers on a business trip. We ordered two Neptune's Platters for 10 of us. We all ate until we could no longer eat. The lobster was the best I've ever tasted and the crab legs were delicious! Neat little restaurant - great service-great time!

We eat here frequently when in Boston. It is a relaxed & happy place. We had a halibut special which was delicious as well as shrimp & grits. It was a cold & snowy winter day but we sat in front of pot belly stove for a wonderful afternoon

While stuck in Boston due to the February snow storms, I had a chance to visit this place. The staff was friendly and my food was excellent. I did get a semi-warm corn on the cob but the shrimp and grits appetizer I had made up for it. The lobster roll was tasty also I didn't get one of the... More

Great seafood restaurant with that quaint waterfront feel. Don't expect fine dining (you'll likely be seated on picnic-table-esque benches) but expect great service, a fun atmosphere, and wonderful food. Menu is diverse and offers dozens of fresh seafood options. When we were there a lot of construction was occurring in the immediate area, which took away from the experience slightly,... More

It was expensive but definitely worth the splurge! Everyone at our table loved what they got. We got three apps (crab dip, calamari and the bacon scallops) and the crab dip was definitely the best. For dinner we had crab legs, lobster mac and cheese, and a couple of other things which were all soooo good! The decor and view... More

I've been dreaming of my return visit here for years, and it didn't disappoint. Was the first place we went to as soon as we got to Boston. Fab choice of lobster, but the calamari rings were none to shabby either ;). Everything was fresh, well cooked (but not over done) and the atmosphere was completely down to earth and... More

My family and I are from out west, and my dad was eager to find a seafood restaurant first night in Boston. Barking Crab had the whole package, great food, great service, and a family friendly environment. We were very impressed to say the least. You guys made my dad one happy man!

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Boston or just moved. The FOOD is wonderful and the prices are much more reasonable than other places. The only draw back was they needed more help. I realize it's off season, however the bartender was also serving and that isn't the best managerial decision.
