Talk about how seafood should be eaten...old shack on the bay...literally! Excellent seafood with a rustic feel. The crab legs were fantastic and the taste I had from my daughter's scampi and cousin's fish was just as good. Worth the wait if it gets crowded and it will.

The wood burning pot-bellied stove was a nice touch on a cold December day. The manager kept it stoked with logs.. There was one table next to ours with eight places and no two chairs that were the same. The door to the restroom is really an antique. We had a boiled lobster, peel and eat shrimp and Portugues fish... More

The food was tasty and well presented and the space is festively decorated. It had a much warmer atmosphere than many of the other restaurants along the pier that I poked my head into.

We met some local friends here for dinner. The food was great, and not overly expensive. This place is a little hidden because of the construction in the area, but is worth traversing the obstacle course. Lobster bisque was to-die-for.

The location was great, right on the water only a short walk over the bridge from our hotel, the Intercontinental. We had a short wait, and they called our cell phone when the table was ready. It was super casual, with a rustic nautical theme, and the Crab Louis salad was refreshing as were the cocktails. My hubby was satisfied... More

This is a little gem tucked away in the middle of all the newer construction in the area. Great place for oysters, lobster, steamers and a cold beer. It has a great old school beachy feel.

An impromptu team meal suggestion resulted in our visit to this relaxed and fun venue. We were delighted, in spite of the mixed reviews on TripAdviser. Our evening was very enjoyable with good homely cooking and some outstanding lobster. Moderately priced with good service and well worth a visit.

If you are looking for a casual fish shack that you would find on the coast but have a craving for New England seafood in Boston this is a great choice. We had the boiled lobster which was fresh and just as you would expect and a generous portion of fish and chips. Great for families and kids

The barking crab has it's place. It's a great place to go to in the summer. It's on a channel and you can drive a boat up to it but it's definately more of a tourist trap than anything. I don't know of anyone who lives in or near Boston who goes there for dinner more than once every few... More
