Strange but tasty

First time visitors to Boton might be surprised... From outside (specially, from the bridge) it doesn't look safe. Interior is not that impressive and would probably want better design for the not cheap restaurant. It is very tasty overall. Steamers, chowder, lobster rolls (the warm one) are... read more

We were dining at the Daily Catch when we saw this next to it. It is by the water and so we thought it would be neat to try it out. It was a cold evening, dipping into the high 30s. But the place is well-insulated and with heaters that kept us warm. The wait staff is very nice and... More

If you're looking for a fancy place to dine, this isn't it, but don't let that stop you! Myself and three others dined on a busy Friday night. The ambiance was great for a casual catch up with friends that live in different cities. The lobster roll was phenomenal and was tossed in just the right amount of butter. Three... More

We had a lobster roll and the mussels here. It was pretty good but the lobster roll was very expensive (used to Maine prices!). It was lovely watching the rowing club and certainly satisfied my lobster roll craving. I had the hot butter one, drooling just thinking about it!

Came here during a weeknight in March so didn't have to deal with the crowds. Had the clam chowder, and it was just OK - it wasn't the best I had in the city for the week I was there. Then I got the lobster roll, which was again, just OK, but very pricey. I liked the ambiance of the... More

My uncle was in town visiting me, and I was scrambling to think of a good seafood restaurant in the area we were in, then I remembered the Barking Crab!! It had been a while since I was there, but is still the best!! Great view, great prices, waterfront views, absolutely delectable fresh seafood, hilarious & helpful staff and really... More

Bucket of crab for two and a side of fries and coleslaw was $140 with tip. This isn't a fancy place, plastic buckets and bibs. The crab was mostly good ( a few legs were withered), butter served in little plastic cups that tended to solidify before we were finished. I guess you have to pay these sorts of prices... More

S,ightly disappointed at this restaurant .,we had the lobster and it was grilled lobster and it was slightly dry, my friend had to return her lobster twice before it was delivered as ordered . It's a casual dining place the staff were pleasant but for my first try of Boston lobster I came away disappointed

Hands down the best meal I had during my trip to the Boston area. This is a casual bar/restaurant on the water. Seafood is the deal and it's very fresh. The lobster was delicious, as were the steamers, and clam chowder. We had a wonderful time, lots of fun and the view of the water is fantastic! Parking is a... More
