Good seafood place

Came here with 10 other colleagues we shared charcuterie & poisson fume mix and match. I wanted to order monk fish but they ran out so ordered sword fish instead. Ordered steam mussels to share also. Cozy atmosphere with jazz piano playing in the background. Finished my dinner with creme brulee.

Le Zygomates is located steps away from South Station and Downtown Crossing in Boston. We went there with a group of coworkers and their partners and had a good time. It's an upscale restaurant, with prices to match. For a group of 12 our bill came to $1600 before tip. For a place of this caliber I expect the experience... More

Exactly what a bistro should be. Standard bistro dishes with clever twists. Came here with a work group of 8 that ordered a variety of dishes. Everyone was pleased with their meals. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return.

Forget the Oysters. Steamed Mussels are it! My boyfriend and I love to dine at fine restaurants and experience great cuisine. Overall, Les Zygomates did not disappoint. I chose Les Zygomates to celebrate his birthday as I was attracted by the "French Bistro with jazz" vibe and thought it would be suitable for how we like to celebrate. I had... More

Tucked away just a couple of blocks from the Chinatown archway is this wonderful modern French gem. Les Zygomates offers authentic French cuisine mixed with wonderful Continental and American fare. Our party had the steak frites (perfect!), stuffed pork tenderloin, exquisitely grilled tuna, and incredible scallops, the latter nestled on a bed mashed celery root - awesome. While the entrees... How can you beat delicious oysters, for one dollar each! Definitely a happy hour go to. Limited draft beer menu, but hey, it's a wine bar!

Back in Boston to visit our son, we all went to Les Zygamotes for dinner. What a treat it was to be back in Boston again enjoying great food in a relaxed bistro atmosphere. The chef, Robert Fathman, treated us to some spectacular food and our server paired the food with an outstanding variety of excellent wines. All the while... More

The female hostess was rude. She seemed annoyed doing her job. The man who sat us was very nice. At first the bartender was a bit standoffish but once things started getting busier he opened up more. Had steak tartar. Was a very large portion. Was good but have had better. Escargot was good. I really don't like escargot so... More

Met a friend for lunch during a busy, rainy Boston June day. Pleasant vibes with good service. Order was taken quickly as most patrons appeared to be on lunch breaks. We split several dishes , turkey sandwich, small steak and salad. Fresh, tasty and a reasonable size. I do not like to be overfed but do not want to feel... More
