The food are excellent compares to the metro city I came from. Restaurant is small but very good service and quick turn over.

No hanging pagoda lights, no décor, just a room with tables and chairs. But, and it is a big but, you will east along with mostly Asians who come here to eat. And they do not eat what you eat. Their menu is in Chinese, yours is translated. The food comes out fast and furious, not necessarily in the order... More

We went with a friend visiting from out of town, so we were pretty embarrassed. We've had good meals here before, but this one was awful. It was mid-week, does that make a difference? Three of the four dishes we ordered were inedible. The lobster with ginger tasted unlike any fresh lobster I've ever had: as though it had been... More

This was one of the places on our list of Chinese Restaurants to try that was near our hotel, the Hyatt on Lafayette St. The Concierge recommended the Peach Farm so we went with this choice. Since they did not take reservations, we were worried about getting a table, but when we arrived they were able to take our party... More

On a recommendation from our hotel we went to the Peach Farm for dinner. Many of the patrons were Asian so I took that to be a good sign. My husband ordered sweet and sour pork(which was very fatty). I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce. (One of my favorite dishes). When it came, the shrimp were small, rounded, and rubbery. Their... More

On a whim, we decided to try a restaurant in Chinatown. The Peach Farm.was recommended by Frommers and it was true to the suggestion. Most to the guests were oriental which was an automatic plus. We had soft shell crab which the waitress recommend and it was hot and crisp and succulent. The restaurant was very clean and the staff... More

This is a great place for Chinese food. The portions are huge. They tend to under-season but their food is great. The other diners were all Asian so that tells me the food is authentic. They have fresh live seafood available but the fish looks old and unhealthy in the tank. Maybe it's supposed to look that way but no... More

We went here for a quick bite after we got into town. The doorman recommended it. My son just wanted a soup and they brought this huge bowl with big chunks of beef so tender, it just melted in your mouth. My wife and I also ordered what we thought were small dishes and none of us could finish our... More

We went to Peach Farm for a late night dinner on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. I couldn't be more grateful to that concierge for the suggestion! Although the restaurant does not look like much, they served the best Chinese food I have ever eaten outside of Shenzhen CN. We ordered crab rangoon, pork fried rice and mu shu... More

don't expect a gourmet experience but, if you want something tasty, quickly and cheaply, then you will find that at the peach farm.
