I had lunch here two straight days during my trip last week. It was very good. Get there before noon if you want a table because it fills up quickly. Service was very good and I was very pleased with the food. The first day I had the Cubano which was very tasty and the fries were outstanding. The second... More

Met a friend from Boston for lunch. Had to continue on the lobster roll roll. This warm one was great--lots of warm lobster with a touch of butter on a crispy toasted roll. Other hits were a chicken salad wrap, and grilled cheese and tomato soup. Our server was busy so a runner brought the food and disappeared. Note to... More

They were good, but $8 for 6 wings is a bit much. I liked how it came with carrots and celery but still quiet pricey. The bar was big 2 upstairs and one downstairs

On april 5, 2013 I sas on on pub crawl with the Boston Youth Hostal where I stayed. We started at J.J. Mcabes where our group visited for an hour and a half and I purchased one Harp beer. At around 10:30 we traveled to the Good Life where our group was placed in front of the line. We each... More

We went to Paint Nite hosted at the Good life bar. Paint Nite was totally awesome. The Good Life bar...Meh. We had difficulty finding it due to the broken sign. We got there a little early so we could have dinner before Paint Nite. The kitchen doesn't open until five so they told us we could get drinks at the... More

Good Life offers a nice alternative to the hum-drum in the downtown crossing area. Slightly pricey, but has good food, good beers and excellent service. It's close to my office and is a good place to see hippies, suits and techies all under one roof.

Staying @ nearby Hyatt seemed shame to stay in room on final Stanley Cup game night, even if traveling solo. Not a Bruins fan but nearby pubs had lines out the door & Good Life looked like still some seats open. Sat at bar (am woman) wondering if taking up another fan's space but service, other patrons made me feel... More

I will never go to Good Life again. Was really excited by the two djs/two floors of dancing set-up on New Year's Eve, for $35. They advertised all over Facebook and the Good Life website, and I told a bunch of friends. Pre-sale tickets sold out, but the websites said a limited number of tickets would be available at the...
