We discovered Salumeria Italiana by wandering around the North End of Boston. That was years ago, we make sure to shop here each time we visit Boston. Their cheeses, meats, olives, breads, pasta are fantastic! The items they carry are imported from Italy and other parts of the Mediterranean. Everything is fresh and so tasty. The service is impeccable. They... More

Spied the sign while walking with friends and had a feeling. Walked in and knew I would be taking some things back in my luggage. Such a wonderful store with yummy things things displayed. I know I can find most of these things in LA, but here they are laid out so beautifully, it hard not to load up! This... More

Since one of my favorite sandwich shops was not open I had to come up with another option. Searched out TA and found this place. While unassuming on the outside, once in the door it was a delight of numerous Italian foods and scents. I would have loved to sample the ghost pepper salami but thought for sure it would... More

These guys are too much! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. The La Donna sandwich is easily my new addiction in the North End. I'll never visit again without getting one (or two). You must also taste the black truffle cheese from Sardinia (Moliterno al Tartufo) it's the bee's knees!

Maybe it really was a day busier than any in its history. Maybe most of the staff had a reason for being so surly. Maybe the purchasing agent simply screwed up. Any way you slice it, the fact this vaunted deli ran out of bread during lunch rush probably had a logical reason behind it. The way the staff handled... More

Compact but incredibly well-stocked shop. They truly have everything you need. Don't be alarmed if the line looks long; the employees are quick and efficient. If you can get there in time, Saturday mornings mean an addictive soft Gorgonzola spread.

Loved the feeling I got just walking into this deli. I could see three Italian guys busy behind the counter busy at work making sandwiches for the hungry diners in front of me. It was a rainy day and I was looking forward to ordering the Caprese panini there and eating it in the deli, but when I got there,... More

Great Italian market just off Hanover Street. Stop in, look around and get an amazing sandwich. They take cash, credit and Euros (not sure about the Euros, but you will feel like you have been transported to Italy).
