Description: The second floor dining room at Legal Harborside offers a focused menu of cuisine prepared with sensible creativity for celebratory eating and private dining events. Chefs Robert Fathman and Rich Vellante helm the kitchen. Complementing the dinner menu is an aperitif cocktail list and a unique selection of artisan wines, each produced from a specific terroir representing some of the world’s most classic regions, from family-owned vineyards. Each of the vintages is unique to Legal Harborside within Massachusetts. The design of the restaurant takes full advantage of the harbor view and is reminiscent of a ship’s dining room, with a curved rosewood ceiling and glossy black columns inspired by the mast of a ship that anchor the space. A lounge off the grand spiral staircase and two oceanfront rooms, with recessing doors for privacy, are available for special events. An intimate patio with outdoor fireplace offers dining and drinks in-season.

I had never been to legal harbor side before and I wish I had discovered it earlier! We went to the rooftop bar which was absolutely beautiful. What a great view. It was a little packed but we were able to find a spot on one of the bar stools for some drinks and some apps. then we went downstairs... More

After making a reservation for Floor 2, we were forced to wait nearly 30 minutes for a table. They tried to seat us outside, where the music was deafening. When we finally were given a table inside, the food was good, but certainly not great, and vastly over priced. These people stay in business, and get away with this abusive,... More

2nd floor of the Legal Harborside has a different, fine dining concept. It is pricey but what you get is worth it. Service was excellent.

As always, the food and white sangria were unbeatable! The staff was friendly and attentive. Wide menu selection and well timed presentation of appetizers and entrees. One place I make sure to hit every chance I get!

Huge, Fresh Lobster! And They'll Crack It For You Too (if need be). And, they just could not have been nicer there too. Beautiful view, stunning food and friendly knowledgeable staff makes for a wonder experience at Legal Seafoods. Tip. We sat downstairs. I have not ate upstairs yet. Make a reservation as this place can get packed. Ok, I... More

Arriving early for drinks on the roof bar is good. There are 2 levels of dining. The 2nd floor is fresh seafood and more sushi. there is a down stairs that has a test kitchen. Make reservations!!

Very good food, lobster bisque was very good but not sure worth the price. $100 for lunch for 3. Service was good. Out side tables on the water but not worth the price.

I just have to comment on the hospitality I received last night at Legal Harborside. I was waiting for my daughter to get out of a concert at the Pavillion and decided to have a drink while I waited. Initially, I thought I would go on to the rooftop, but it was too crowded for my taste last night. So... More

While on business in Boston, I had heard that Legal Sea Food was a bit over rated and kind of a touristy chain. I was looking for a classic seafood meal for some customers and someone from Boston told me that the Harborside location was different from the others and would be worth our trip. They were right! This restaurant... More

Visited Legal Harborside with friends from out of town who were expecting an exceptional experience. Was a typical Legal Seafood experience...crowded, noisy, and rushed. Limited, underwhelming menu with less than attentive service. When one meal had to be sent back because it did not come as ordered...nothing was changed upon it's return and the wait staff disappeared. At end of... More
