Description: The second floor dining room at Legal Harborside offers a focused menu of cuisine prepared with sensible creativity for celebratory eating and private dining events. Chefs Robert Fathman and Rich Vellante helm the kitchen. Complementing the dinner menu is an aperitif cocktail list and a unique selection of artisan wines, each produced from a specific terroir representing some of the world’s most classic regions, from family-owned vineyards. Each of the vintages is unique to Legal Harborside within Massachusetts. The design of the restaurant takes full advantage of the harbor view and is reminiscent of a ship’s dining room, with a curved rosewood ceiling and glossy black columns inspired by the mast of a ship that anchor the space. A lounge off the grand spiral staircase and two oceanfront rooms, with recessing doors for privacy, are available for special events. An intimate patio with outdoor fireplace offers dining and drinks in-season.

We were able to get a reservation for 9 on a Saturday night on the second floor. Nice view of the harbour. A great selection of tasty appetizers. The trout, Atlantic halibut and Arctic char were all excellent and well prepared. All food was one step up any other meal we had during our trip. It was a good way... More

Went for lunch..Fresh food, good atmosphere and good service. Ordered Oysters as a starter and Steamed Mussels with French Fries for main course and had two glasses of a very nice Californian Sauvignon Blanc. Great experience, will go back..

We had lunch with friends at Legal Harbor side during a day trip to Boston yesterday that included a visit to the nearby Harpoon Brewery. The establishment has a modern, interesting decor in a nice location. The staff is hurried and fairly attentive, though some are clearly better trained than others. The food is tasty and plentiful and the menu,... More

Very nice 2nd floor dining experience here with a large group. We shared shrimp cocktails (the cocktail sauce could use another dollop of horseradish to make it memorable). Bread selection was unremarkable. I had the haddie cake appetizer and the monk fish entree, both of which were delicious. Several non-seafood eaters in our group were satisfied with their beef and... The view is great as is the food. However it is a very crowded restaurant with tables on top of each other, creating a noisy environment

With Legal Harborside, the Legal Seafoods chain has expanded its reach beyond the one restaurant per building concept, with great success on two out of three areas (from our experience.) the first floor dining area is super casual, and the menu style and offerings are designed to harken back to the original Legal restaurant, which was half fish market, half... We had dinner (group of 6) on the second floor and then moved up to the third floor for dancing and watching the fireworks over the Boston Harbor. The prix fix menu was wonderful! Great oysters, king crab, amazing Dover sole and halibut, those having the surf & turf were equally delighted. The party upstairs was so fun, danced all... More

All food was to the usual very good Legal standards. Staff at Sunday brunch were friendly and efficient. Our boys loved "fishing" the indoor catch and release trout pond (though the clever fish wouldn't bite!). Fun to watch the boats come and go. Issue: it really seems ridiculous to be expected to pay for Valet parking on a weekend while... More

Went for my birthday lunch with my parents and two cousins.......I've heard great things about this place (formerly Jimmy's Harborside) and it truly didn't disappoint......We ate on the first floor at a table by the window, overlooking the harbor and Logan Airport in the distance; several planes were taking off / landing during our meal (why I gave 5 "stars")......the...
