Description: Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!

Where to even begin describing the levels of medicrioty. For the record I'd like to state I'm not a snobby foodie, I just expect a certain level of service and food quality commesurate with the price level. So, let's start with the service. maitre'de if you want to call it that, seemed uninterested meeting us at the door, table service... More

The waiter was a nice person but not great doing his job. It took a while to get what we ordered. The beverages came straight away but the desserts did not. He kept forgetting things. In the end, I appreciated the fact that he compensated our bad experience by not charging us the fondue though.

I had heard about this place a few weeks ago and, being a chocolate lover, was very excited to try it out. When we arrived we stood around for a few minutes, not quite sure whether we were supposed to wait to be seated (as we were only having drinks) or to walk over to the bar. 2 or 3... More

For chocolate lovers, this is a an opportunity to experience lots of creative and different chocolate based dishes. I had the the toffee banana, with dark chocolate sauce (instead of the whipped cream on the menu). It was sparse on the bananas, and heavy on the toffee sauce. It was very tasty, but I think a better balance could have... More

I have been twice in few days during my holidays in Boston. When you arrived in the restaurant, you give your name to be on the waiting list. The first time it was for 20 minutes, and tonight it was for ONE HOUR. I can wait one hour if the restaurant and the staff is really busy. But when I... More

Waited for over 15 minutes for a waiter to finally acknowledge our table and take our order (we were more than ready with our decisions). The food was a bit slow to arrive as well and I had to remind our waiter of our shared milkshake. The Brenner Burger (without sauce and with avocado) was good and perfectly cooked, but... More

Had a great early dinner here with my sons. I had one of the best salads, on a waffle no less! It had everything I liked and nothing I didn't. Great Service and decent pricing. A must stop and eat place. They are known for their chocolate themed menu, My son enjoyed the chocolate milk.

I went to this restaurant a while ago and it was amazing, but when I recently returned the experience was awful. When I arrived I was immediately disgusted by several tables left uncleared, all gathering flies. I let it slide, thinking maybe they were understaffed for the day. When I got to my table however, I saw two waiters sitting... More

Compared to other restaurants in the area, portion size and the type of food served, this place was over priced! The adult beverages were delicious, but expensive, as was the food. My burger, fries, and white russian (which wasn't very strong) cost well over $30! I would recommend this place for just dessert, or for buying chocolate- if you are... More

the food is o.k. but the chocolate is sensational.....loved dipping stuff in the chocolate, a fun way for dessert.... service needs to be improved....but dessert was worth the wait.
