Description: Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely...
Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!

We really enjoyed dining here for brunch. The chocolate shoppe/ restaurant idea is great. The food was good and the atmosphere was super fun. Even though I'm not a chocoholic - a little hot chocolate for breakfast never hurt anyone! I would very much recommend this place to family and friends, and even look for it again in our travels!!

I went to Max Brenner's for dessert and I shared one of the Sweet Icon desserts with a friend. We were both delighted with the dessert and its presentation. It was delicious and looked like a Party on a Plate. I looked around and the food and desserts other people were served also looked delicious. The restaurant has a wonderful... More

We visited last Sunday for my husbands birthday with my kids and it is a fun family place. My suggestion though is to use Open Table or one of the reservation sites as this makes the visit much less of a wait where lines can sometimes be a few hours. The food is fun and different and not the usual... More

The service was poor, the music was loud, the espresso was cold and nobody seemed to care. The seating arrangements in the rear are awkward and crowded. Best to grab a hot chocolate at the bar and move on.

Nice ambience. At the entrance, you are greeted by the chocolate shop while waiting for your table. One can choose the chocolate bar, for drinks and chocolate mixes, or to get a table/booth at the restaurant. The choice for meals is limited to burgers and the like. The desserts are elaborated... A bit too big and too sweet for my... More

I would say if you want to try some yummy hot chocolate, you will like it. If you want to eat breakfast- go someplace else. The food was not good at all. The eggs were not good, the home fries were gross little cubs, hard as a rock, and the bread was stale. The service was just awful, although, in... More

Looks like a tourist trap. Even the chocolate and hot chocolate is not that good and the food is average.

Wait was too long. So, the lovely lady behind register in small shop section directed us to a small take home fondue set that came with chocolate pieces, skewers, and tea light candle to melt chocolate for about 20$. So we purchased that and had our own fondue in hotel.

Visited this restauarant without having made a reservation - had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but when we were shown through, it seemed like there were lots of empty places. We were ordering deserts and drinks only but it took a little while to arrive at our table. The food was delicious and the hot chocolate to... More
