Description: Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely...
Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!

Death by chocolate

The kids and adults love this place. Chocolate fondue is amazing. Loved the potato fries. It's always a pleasure to go back to this place. Like a chocolate bar.

Went there for brunch and it was delicious. Heaven for chocolate lovers! The service was slow even though the place was almost empty, but everyone was pleased with their food.

Had a nice dessert Lava Cake with Ice Cream - Nice n different taste n style. Service was reasonably ok, could have been better. Ambiance and location - superb.

My son took me here for Mother's Day. What an enjoyable experience!! Right when you walk in the door the smell of chocolate hits your senses. We split a burger because we were saving our appetites for the main event dessert!! Our burger was delicious, we were both pleasantly surprised! The fries were yummy as well. Then came the dessert... Dined here yesterday after attending a graduation at Northeastern University. There were four of us and we opted to dine al fresco. We had a terrific server (Jason), who was extremely efficient and highly knowledgeable. The menu is quite interesting...with a definite emphasis on dessert and especially chocolate...how could that not be great? The food menu is really nice...salmon, chicken,... More

It looks like a very classy soda shop. If the soda shop was a chocolate bar. Fresh, homemade hot chocolate, and their granitas were amazing. I had the California burger. Very, very good!! Charbroiled tasting. Very cool place...must try it out.

We had previously been to a Max Brenner in Maryland, near DC, when on a visit there, and we had a memorable experience that we carried with us, one of friendly young service professionals and a warm, family (kid) friendly atmosphere. We took that with us to the local (Boston) location primarily because my 9 year old son wanted to... More

We went for dessert on a Friday night, which can always get a little crazy. At the beginning it didn't seem to bad, the hostess took down my name, they had a guy circulating with samples while we waited, and it only took 20 minutes t get a table, which is quite quick for 9:00 Friday in Boston. Once our... More
