Description: Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!

the food is o.k. but the chocolate is sensational.....loved dipping stuff in the chocolate, a fun way for dessert.... service needs to be improved....but dessert was worth the wait.

The chocolate drinks and deserts are awesome but the food wasn't worth coming back for. Food was just regular for us and we LOVE food.

I went to Max Brenner today. The waiter was slow and unfriendly.I ordered french toast and after 20 minutes he came and told me they weren't making that anymore today.I had a cookie shake it wasn't very good at all and it was small for $8. I ordered the balt sandwich it was ok. My nephew got the kid cheese... More

Wow. Wish I could have returned and tried every meal throughout the day. We came here for desert after Atlantic Fish Co and glad we did. Chocolate Martini - I could die a happy drunk. And the fondue, lava cake, etc were exceptional. Great experience.

Crowded and self-consciously hip at night, almost empty mid-morning, you can find some truly delicious chocolate-inspired cuisine at this (to use an overused word) unique spot. Vibe is an almost too-cute kitsch-choco-laboratory, but the service was great, and the flavors were certainly "on!" As you'll see from the on-line menu, it can look like a painfully creative/contrived list of breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack... More

We visited Max Brenner after dinner for what we thought would be a great dessert place for the kids. We were so wrong. First off, this place is dirty. The restrooms were filthy and apparently there is an issue with the motion sensor on the faucet. We couldn't get it to work properly. There is a sign that says if... More

Service was quite good during a recent visit for a Sunday brunch. There was a parade going on in the street outside of the restaurant, and I think that actually kept a lot of people away from the restaurant because it's my understanding that on other weekends, this place is completely packed for brunch. There are definitely plenty of options... More

After a great dinner and some shopping on nearby, we followed some advice from locals and gave this place a try. I loved the food and chocolate drink, but especially enjoyed the decor. The store's logo is a drawing of a bald man who looks a lot like my hubby! :) I had to buy a t-shirt from the gift... More

The staff was wonderful. The chocolate fondue just average. I'm sure I could do better myself at home. I guess for $25.00 I expected it to be more memorable.
