Description: Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely...
Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, the first restaurant entirely devoted to chocolate, provides a "chocolate mood:" a person being surrounded by huge bricks, candles, pralines, colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. Each person"s chocolate experience is exclusive to the individual as it brings out different emotions in each and every person. This can be experienced at our retail shop and dining room. In addition to our unique chocolate, we also offer delicious savory foods. Whether it is our famous Brenner Burger or Mac & Cheese, there will be something for everyone in the group!

Chocolate feast!

Stopped by for dessert here and was delighted by the service from our waitress and the very clever presentation of the ice cream which could be dipped in a variety of chocolate sides... Enjoy!!

Of course you come here for the chocolate desserts but the food is good too! Ingredients are fresh and portions are good. Fries are very good! So are the cocktails. Waitstaff is very nice.

My daughter had been to a Max Brenner in Philadelphia - so, she took our little group to this one. We were there late in the evening and sat at the bar. Chocolate drinks (great), Mac & cheese (outrageously good) and waffle fries (also great) - and, of course - who goes to a place that specializes in chocolate and... More

If you like chocolate, this is your place. I love chocolate, but I really can't rate this better than average as restaurants go. I would recommend this place after a light meal when you want a heavy dessert.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was nice, but must give an average rating because our server was not on the ball. She was slow and forgetful. Had to ask two or three times for things.

The restaurant looked good and we were looking forward to a great dessert. I think we chose the wrong thing. We had S'mores fondue for two. The graham crackers, marshmallows, and sauces were very ordinary and lacked any great flavor. And the cost was high! This review is not a complaint but a suggestion that it is not the best choice.

This place is absolutely amazing, and if you like chocolate, you would be doing yourself a disservice by missing it! However, the desserts are pretty big and definitely very rich, so I'd either suggest having dessert for dinner or, if you're stopping by after dinner, share a dessert!

We went to Max Brenner for dinner and were very disappointed. For starters the place was very crowded and loud, my boyfriend and I both chose the frozen lemonade to drink which was like drinking pure sugar and water. I opted for the Caesar salad which was very disappointing, comparable to a supermarket bought bagged salad, he opted for a... More

We came here because we had heard many good things about this restaurant; unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. The desserts were pretty average, nothing too extraordinary. The atmosphere was very dark, crowded, and extremely loud. We had an okay time but we're not planning on coming back anytime soon.

We were hot and tired from a day of walking but after enjoying the delectable treats here we had energy to walk some more.nthe chocolate peanut butter crepe is heavenly as was my daughters strawberry crepe...oh heck everything was divine.
