I've been to several north end restaurants and this one doesn't have the best food- but it is good and delicious after a day of walking around. They had gluten free options and had fast, friendly service. A patron even broke into operatic song twice. Very fun and unpretentious.

Had both a pasta dish and pizza. Everything was delicious. Very crowded on the night before the marathon and they handled the crowd very well.

I highly recommend the eggplant rolantini. Crisp fried eggplant wrapped around seasoned ricotta it was delicious. Had the eggplant & chicken parm dinner -it was wonderful. Met the owner who is a great guy. Very friendly and genuine. Mad atmosphere on a Saturday night the weekend of the Marathon, but a great time.
