My husband and I have been to Benevento's twice now. Both times we ordered the gluten free pizza and it was excellent! The ricotta on the pizza is made onsite and really adds great flavor to their pizza. They offer other gluten free options, but both times we have ordered the pizza since it is so good. They have gluten... More

This was our second stop on our Boston Pizza Tour. The pizza was fantastic. Dining area was a little cramped, but there were 16 of us on the tour. We ordered a half bottle of wine that was very overpriced but delicious.

Friendly staff, great food and am amazing view. The building across the street is lovely and has been filmed in movies (part of it is a laundromat, though it looks like Europe). We have never been disappointed at Beneventos. Nice food, not too pricey. Staff goes above and beyond.

My wife had one of the evening's specials - a chicken dish that we extraordinary. Wish I could remember the name, but suffice to say that it was plate licking good. Four cheeses, garlic, sauteed spinach...just incredible I had the broccoli rabe with Sausage and house made pasta - a wonderful dinner. We skipped dessert only because we were too... More

We planned a last minute date night with a few activities and a late dinner. I was able to get a 10pm reservation at about noon the day of. Upon arrival the host/manager thought the reservation was for 6 people and was a bit frustrated at first since he saved tables. He confirmed it was his staff's error and that... More

We were attentively greeted and accommodated. My son recommended this place as having excellent pizza, which it did. We ordered the spinach crepes appetizer which was excellent, burned on the four corners however. The pasta arrabbiata, ordered al dente, was overcooked and the hot peppers in it were actually marinated peppers simply tossed in rather than sautéed jalapeños which release... More

Last night we enjoyed our dinner at Benevento's. The atmosphere is classic North End. All meals are made to order and delicious. Appetizer mussels were exceptional. Waitstaff is attentive. Extensive gluten free menu. Reservations are a must.

While in Boston last summer my wife and I found ourselves in the Little Italy part of the city and decided we wanted some pizza for lunch. We had gotten a recommendation of a good Italian restaurant but could not remember the name only that it was on Salem Street and started with a B. We decided on Benevento's as... More

We were a relatively big group, considering the small size of this restaurant, and we made a reservation on a weeknight, which helped. Luckily we did not have to wait because is was cold outside. As with most restaurants in the Boston North End, Benevento's is small and crowded. We were a little crowded but not uncomfortably so and the... More

We went here on a food tour, so we got to try 3 pizzerias in one night and this one was my favorite with the best flavor. However, we had reservations and still had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, and outside at that, so they could definitely improve upon that. Why even bother with a reservation if... More
