Delicious!!

I've eaten at Benevento's on a couple of occasions and it is always delicious and fresh. The fresh pasta carbonara is so yummy and plentiful, the leftovers are just as good the next day. We picked this place utterly at random (it was hot, we were hungry) and were at first a little disappointed with the dark, rather dilapidated interior, but the food was stunning. I've travelled around Italy and Sicily and the food here stands up well. Lobster ravioli and pasta amatriciana were the stand out dishes. Lovely nosh!

We tried several of the appetizers and entrees. Margherita pizza was excellent; calamari was pretty good; the award-winning shrimp appetizer wasn't that interesting. Veal entrée was excellent; chicken Benevento was excellent. Nice atmosphere, good service, lots of choices/variety. Portions were very generous.

I can't say enough. We went for lunch with two kids and the food was fabulous! I asked what they had that was gluten-free and was told they could make anything. My 7 yo daughter and I shared the Caesar salad for two and she loved it so much, she had 3 helpings. Gluten-free bruschetta was great, too. The vodka... More

Food was great, large portions, service was very friendly, we had a reservation through open table, they took us right away, food was served pretty quickly and everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server knowing we were from out of town gave us some recommendations of things to do which was very helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome gluten free pasta! Can't say enough about the Bolognese GF Pasta... And the veal special with shiitake and spinach --we died and went to Veal Heaven. Food Network should be here!!! I cannot say enough about the veal. And egg plant app-- just come here hungry. Awesome experience at 8:30pm reservation. We sat on the front door but who... More

When in the North End of Boston, one will expect to wait. And this place is certainly worth the wait. John at the front door was very good at managing all who wished to enter. Jessica our waitress and her support, were right on it, for such a busy place. Now the food. Outstanding. Having been to Italy more times... More

We stumbled upon this welcoming, busy restaurant while meandering around the North End. We were attracted to it because of its welcoming name. The host told us that we needed a reservation, but he would try to find us a table anyway. After a short 5 minute wait, we were escorted to a table in the lower level of the... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We stumbled into this place our first night in Boston and it was so amazing we can back again before leaving. They even remember us from our first night. They are known for their pizza but I would go for the homemade, fresh pasta. Absolutely amazing!

We popped into Benevento's on a cold afternoon looking for a coffee - the waitress was so friendly and accommodating, and the espresso coffee so delicious that we decided to go back that evening for dinner. Being our first trip to Boston we were keen to try some lobster - Benevento's dishes did not disappoint, my husband had the lobster... More
