One of my favorites

This is a busy and great place in Bostons North End. The food is always great, cooked to perfection and I guarantee you wont leave hungry, and you will have food to take home. The pizza is awesome and has been called some of the best in Boston. The Grand Marnier Shrimp are so good you can't get... read more

I took my daughter and her friends for dinner. even with reservations, the wait was an hour. But it's the north end. You need to expect that. The food was lovely. The waitress attended to our needs This is good food, not great I would still come back for another visit. Small quaint and in a fabulous area.

We went there for Mother's day dinner, booked a table using OpenTable, they called to confirm the reservation earlier in the day (was a nice touch). We arrived half an hour early and we were seated immediately. The waitress Alison was super friendly and attentive. The calamari appetizer was excellent. We ordered the lobster ravioli, chicken marsala, chicken with broccoli... More

Small place with terrific service and yummy food. While some friends and I dined there recently, one of the patrons happened to be an opera singer and serenaded us. What a treat. We ate leisurely and did not feel rushed. The downsides: 1. We were seated at a table all the way in the back, in a little space away... More

My husband and I were in Boston, taking in the Red Sox games during Marathon weekend. The North End of Boston was very busy the night before the race, since everyone was carb-loading. We were craving some pizza so after walking around for a while we came across Benevento's. The hostess at the door was very kind. We enjoyed a... More

We went as a group to this restaurant after a business event. Our host (from Boston) chose it, and we were so happy she did! Triumphs: Kitchy ambience, good value, great food (everyone in our party remarked that their dishes were tasty), wait staff was attentive, good choices, didn't feel rushed, nice wine selections. Challenges: Not enough places to wait... More

The serving crew is very personable, the wine and dinner selection was great-- they had a little bit of everything. The restaurant is not very large, but they do very well with the space that they have. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet upbeat. I look forward to eating at Benevento's again!

Very good choice in North End for conventional and GF choices. I had the GF pizza which was excellent. Freind had lobster ravioli which she loved and is a specialty there. We shared an antipasto which was good although small. Service was great. Only complaint was that wine is served in a small old fashioned coke glass-no wine glasses which... More

Great atmosphere but food was just okay- we eat in the North End quite frequently and with a daughter with Celiac we were told the Gluten Free options were excellent- I would have to disagree greatly- the garlic "bread" was just a disguised gluten free flat bread with no taste. The Gluten Free Pasta came with a $3.50 up charge... More

In advance of a Christmas Holiday in Boston I made a dinner reservation with Beneventos Restaurant (Boston North End) for Christmas Eve 2014. The booking was made some weeks previously through Open Table and was confirmed by Beneventos. Just after 2pm. on 24 December the reservation was cancelled by Beneventos without explaination. This is not something we are used to... More
