I have been meaning to write this review since dining at Tico late last year with a work group in town for a meeting. I love the concept of Tapas and getting to try so many different things, all of which were totally amazing and expertly prepared. My favorite thing of all the things I tried was the brussel sprout... My wife and I eat at the top restaurants in Boston (and elsewhere) and had good dinners at Tico in the past but stopped in spontaneously the other night. We decided to sit at the bar and a delightful and knowledgeable bartender named Grace was immediately helpful. We ordered some craft cocktails that were truly delicious and some small sharing... Had a casual business meeting and just had drinks. The setting was comfortable and relaxing. Service was casual and speedy. Did not order any food but heard good things.

We had a late brunch at Tico on a Saturday in January. The place was almost deserted, with only a few other customers (who were all at the bar). I was surprised by the relatively limited brunch menu. However, both my husband (who is GF) and I were able to find something that interested us. I was VERY pleasantly surprised... More

Walked in for dinner on a cold January evening. The food and service were excellent. I especially recommend the cartinas tacos and the two beef tacos. Be adventurous and try whatever looks good. Some dishes were especially outstanding, but none disappointed. I'd go back next time I'm in Boston.

The kitchen is focused in this place. Very tasty and fast service. Excellent margarita too. The lobster tacos were incredible and the Mac and cheese and everything else solid.

Was not expecting another 'small plates' restaurant to be that great. Needed to eat in the Back Bay Area and found this on Open Table. Food was excellent. Must try the deviled eggs (not typical); octopus; cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. If you like sweet, non chocolate desserts, Tres Leches cake was delicious. Huge restaurant and tequila is their speciality drink,... More

Like a bad movie, I stumbled upon this place to get out of the rain. The portions were small but very high quality, even the waiter warned me of the small plates ahead of time. The roasted cauliflower apparently has somewhat of a cult following – it’s really unique with chipotle and favas, so it’s a “must have.” I choose... More

Went there for a business lunch. Food was marginal. As it turned out we had a meeting cancellation and decided to rack-up quite a wine bill.
