Description: Welcome to Davide, Boston's premier authentic Italian restaurant. Located in the Historic North End, Davide has continued to serve outstanding regional Italian cuisine for more than two decades. Davide is proud to have been an integral part of the North End’s incredible dining scene for over 20 years. Our doors first opened in 1982 and ever since then we have provided Boston with the highest quality culinary creations. Our talented chefs pool their collective years of experience to create dishes that reflect the rich traditions of Northern Italy and at the same time amaze diners with their originality. Their work has earned Davide numerous accolades — "Best Italian" - Pat Whitley Show and Phantom Gourmet - "Greatness" — over the years, including a Five-Diamond award from AAA, a rating of Excellent from Zagat Survey, and recognition as one of the nation’s top 50 Italian restaurants.

Walked in off the street at 5:30 on a Sat. evening to find only one other couple in the place which we were happy about. The service was very attentive and knowledgable. I ordered the Spaghetti vongole in white wine sauce which was delicious and loaded with clams. My husband ordered the Veal Parmesan and thought it was very good.... More

We chose this place because of (1) proximity to our hotel and (2) the ratings. I don’t know if we hit a bad night or what. The staff was nice and the food was just ok. The menu was traditional Italian, but the plates we ordered were not as “upscale” as we had anticipated.

Davide was exceptional . The dining room is so pretty and spread out with confortable high back booths. The service was very good and very hospitable. Their pasta was all fresh pasta . I had a linguine and clam sauce that was delightful and my husband had the Veal chop that was huge and cooked to perfection. The lemocelllo cake... More

Upon arriving this past Sunday for our 5:30pm reservations, the restaurant was completely empty and my wife looked at me funny. Just a few weeks ago, we had 5:30pm reservations at another North End restaurant on a Sunday and would NOT have got in without them. That was the first odd thing. The second odd thing was the restaurant was... More

We recently dined at Davide and enjoyed our experience overall. The atmosphere was as we remembered it from several years ago: cozy and romantic. The cocktails were delicious. Menu choices were good but we expected a more expanded menu as they advertised on their website. Parking was conveniently located within a block from the restaurant. Love their warm bread. Our... We had seen Davide on the Restaurant makeover show and living close to Boston decided to try it out. We went on a Thursday night and the place had two other tables in use and we were asked if we had a reservation. We were seated and then left for almost 20 minutes before we were even asked if we... Food was actually quite good but not the very best, and the setting lovely and warm. Service was excellent. Best was the quiet dining on a Saturday night - Few people there. Unfortunately, some long delays in getting the food to come out. The prices were sky high, and the location required at extra $18 in parking. A very nice... More

We have visited Davide a few times now. Here is what we love: we have been able to get a seat quickly, even on weekends. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. My wife ordered parpadelle (sp?) and I ordered lasagna. Both were excellent. Even the bread they bring out is fantastic. Make sure you order it! We have... More

We had a Groupon, so we decided to try a new restaurant in the Norht End, although off the beaten path from busy Hanover St. Definitely not a cute cozy North End style restaurant. It is downstairs in a basement, but quiet and updated. Almost empty on a Friday night, so it was strange that the wait time for the... More
