My daughter chose Island Creek for her Birthday dinner. Funky interior; back wall is designed with shells filling the panels. The service was really good; the folks who keep track of what might seem like small things like filling your water glass were on top of everything. The wait staff were chill but knowledgeable. The menu was interesting but still... More

This restaurant is consistently amazing. Always packed but worth the wait. The best oysters to be found anywhere. I had about 10 different local types with a sour geuze beer flavored with oysters. Not for the faint of heart indeed. The smoked trout and mackerel crudo were amazing too. But the oysters are the real reason to go. They blow... More

Wow! I never knew oysters would be my new favorite raw fish. I tried a sampling of the waiter's recommended oysters and I was hooked! Ordered a second flight along with the catfish. It was purely amazing!!! Fun, friendly, reliable staff. We had a blast!

This, and its partner restaurant Row 34, are the best seafood restaurants in a city that is full of them. Don't order anything without asking the knowledgeable staff for their food and drink recommendations, otherwise you'd be missing out on something new and (likely) amazing. This is truly a beautiful restaurant with a large bar and expansive dining room. Be... More

This was an obvious choice while visiting Boston because we love seafood and it was connected to our hotel. I'm not huge into oysters but I adore most other types of seafood so we picked the salmon tartare and crab cake for appetizers and then the lobster bisque & clam chowder to share. The buttery beautiful flavor of the crab... More

Outstanding service and food on Commonwealth. The variety of oysters and the knowledgeable staff was refreshing. Try the Lobster Roe Pasta with braised short ribs & lobster - to die for!

Delicious! Amazing homemade roll. I am not the biggest lobster fan, but Island Creek has converted me.

We came to the Island Creek With a big group (8), including two young children. Everyone went away happy. Its name would require a love of oysters, but this isn't the case. We had: Children - Had grilled cheese and French fries. The food came earlier than the adults - thus enhancing tranquility at the table. French fries better than... More

We went for a quick late bite after a show. Needed something light. Sat at the bar and Will our bartender was very knowledgeable and attentive. Fun too! We had a dozen different kinds of oysters and Will helped us select our choices based on what we like. They were perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at ICOB this evening. We had the chilled seafood platter and the crab cake. My wife pronounced the crab cake the best she has had. The service was excellent. The chilled seafood platter had a couple of types of oysters, littleneck clams, chilled lobster and jumbo shrimp. Plenty for three of us. The pink grapefruit... More
