Fun Bar

Went here after running in the Boston Marathon. Great to eat a lobster roll and enjoy a cold beer. Friendly staff and customers made me feel comfortable after a tough day on the road.

It looks like a bar aimed at college kids, but the food was surprisingly good, as was the service. Possibly the best fried clams I've ever had. The buttermilk biscuits were amazing. The server really knew the menu, others helped out, and we were very well taken care of. It's loud in the front (by the bar) but the back... More

Highly recommend the island creek oysters which were sweet, plump and delicious! We all found the menu choices either overly creative or too ordinary. Come for the oysters!

This was a great choice for us as we wanted high quality food and a nice night out but wanted a fun environment and didn't feel like getting too dressed up. All the dishes we ordered were great, service was top notch and wait staff was excellent about describing fresh seafood, cocktail menu and wines.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it lives upto its expectations. We had a reservation and we did not have to wait. Even on a weekday ot was nearly full, which speaks in itself about its popularity. The sea food menu and drink options are endless and really difficult to choose from. I had to rely on my colleagues to... More

A modern but elegant interior masks a warehouse of space that can feel a little crowded. Seafood and oysters are always fresh, but the menu preparations sometimes over-reach. Wait staff can be overly attendant...at times it seems like we had five people serving us. It got a bit confusing. Valet parking is very expensive, but finding a parking spot in... More

This is a very nice restaurant, with great atmosphere and décor. Though we had reservations we had a 10 min wait which I'm not complaining about, just saying you need reservations. The local Oyster Creek oysters were large and yummy, served very cold! The wine list was $$$ but the waitstaff helped us find something we liked. We both had... More

Superb food, service, music and a great buzz. Loved it! Went to the Top of the Hub but would go here before there if I'd known how great this place was!

What a great place -- the best one we've been to in Boston. It is very much in demand, so we were lucky to get a 5:30 reservation on a Thursday night. Everyone from the hotel doorman on was wearing a smile; it's hard not to have a good time at Island Creek. It is situated in a cavernous high-ceilinged... More
