Neighborhood treasure

Was able to enjoy dinner here with my family. Although the kids got through it, probably better suited for adults. That said, the dinner was prepared and executed well. We all enjoyed our meals and tried a variety of dishes. Service was attentive.

A top notch fine dining restsurant with a great welcome and the evening was complimented by just the right level of banter and interaction from Dominic ,our English sommelier from Oxford - always a nice surprise when you are a Brit abroad. It's clearly all about the wine and the extensive list needs some serious navigation ,which Dominic was able... More

We celebrated my wife's birthday and had wonderful meal. The wait staff from the bar area and throughout the entire meal did an excellent job. We sat outside and it was great for a summer evening. The Heirloom Beet Salad was a delicious summer appetizer. A huge wine list, knowledgeable wait staff assisted with our meal choices so everything was... More

2nd visit - went once about 2 years ago. This time we had the heirloom beet salad with chevre, walnuts, asian pear, and mustard greens. Tasted great - only complaint is that for $13 it was a pretty skimpy portion. We also each had the Giannone Chicken, Sweet corn, which came with a "crispy soft boiled egg" (basically breaded soft... Too many ingredients, too salty, too many flavors, poor quality of the raw ingredients. I am sorry to say that because service and ambiance were good, but the cuisine is far from being refined and harmonious. It looked like an attempt to hide each individual taste to make a new one, with nonsense results. Especially given the high prices.

Ya, this place was absolutely amazing!! The best restaurant in Boston. Only downside is that it's not downtown, but who cares when the food was that awesome!! Desert was a great way to end the meal. A truly awesome restaurant that I found while browsing Tripadvisor. Reviews were accurate

Special meal in a special place. Delectable meal, starters included lobster and salad and delicious mains, followed by melt in your mouth desserts. Excellent food, expert service in a lovely venue.

This may be Boston's best restaurant -- excellent for a special occasion as well as for just a great dinner night out. This time we were here for our anniversary -- and we got a superb table at the window and a few extra. Deuxave is a modern take on fine French dining -- it is what L'Espalier used to... More
