Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

Perfect!

This was our second time at Deuxave, and it was lovely. A wonderful night to dine outside, excellent food and outstanding service. The waiter was knowledgable, friendly and fun. A very interesting menu - we shall definitely return when in Boston.

Exemplary service, menu not that inspiring - it took us only a couple of minutes to choose, good wine list but a bit unbalanced - for example 6 Williamette Valley pinot noir but none from New Zealand. Food fine but completely unmemorable, in fact I only ate there 4 days ago and can't remember what I had. Our table was... More

Enjoyed dinner. The service was exceptional. Food was interesting and good but not a highlight. The restaurant setting is modern and cool. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. Worth a look but have enjoyed better dinner in Little Italy.

We booked through Opentable and had a wonderful time and drink at the bar. We were than shelved off in a rather secluded and dingy corner of the restaurant. Strangely, it seemed that this was the section for any client from a "minority ethnic group". There were three while we were there and all of us were dined in the... More

Super dinner with spouse and kids in a booth by the window. Service was outstanding (they would apologize to interrupt your conversation to check if everything ok), food was all delicious.

Incredible place. Cuisine nuveau in its Boston version is just stunning there. Prepare yourself for the surprises. Incredible invention of restaurant's chief turns the visit in this place into great adventure. I would recommend both the lobster gnocchi and halibut. If you go there, you'll have a fantastic dinner!

Delicious French-inspired cuisine. Imaginative wine list. Quiet atmosphere. Great service, especially from Joanna.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the last year. It has become our favorite place for a wonderful dinner for both a great dinner and a special event. Nicole, our server tonight remembered us from our last visit and she again made it a very enjoyable experience. The food was outstanding and we had... More

If you are visiting Boston you should definitely dine here if you are celebrating a special occasion. The food, wine and service were excellent, slightly pricey.

We received a gift card as a holiday present and decided to use it for part of a birthday celebration. The service was excellent and not pretentious. Everything we are was wonderful. We mostly followed the advice of our server and we're pleased with the result. The duck confit and lobster gnocchi appetizers were my two favorites of the evening.... More
