The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. I had dinner with some friends here and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is lovely. Decor is understated and elegant. There were plenty of friendly waitstaff making sure that all was taken care of. This place has a good wine list and serves a lot of very tasty food (much, if not all of it sourced locally). So healthy options,... More

i reserved at Deuxave to celebrate my wife's birthday; it was one of those spots that i'd kept in mind for a special occasion, as i knew it would be on the pricey side and it had a nice location on Comm Ave. The room was nice and quite pleasant, with a low noise level. The food was quite good... More

Boston is such a beautiful city and the people are so nice to people who are visiting from other cities. Some friends and I decided to try out "Deuxave" from what we had read on tripadvisor. The menu had a lot of special selections, that made it very easy to choose from. The staff made our group feel so special.... More

I took my husband here for his birthday during our trip to Boston. I was not disappointed! The menu was creative but not overly-so, and the wine list was substantial. Had the burrata for main course, I've never seen that done before, and it was fantastic. Also the creme brulee with homemade ice cream was fantastic!

At the top of this TripAdvisor form, each time I write a restaurant review, TripAdvisor asks the question, “Is this one of the best meals you’ve ever had in a restaurant?” Then I am given two circular icons marked “Yes” and “No”. It’s very, very rare when I check the “Yes” icon. Deuxave deserves it. The dining room is relaxed,... More

Love the ambiance in this restaurant which is very chic yet casual - the sound level is very conducive to intimate conversations and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The foie gras was simply out of this world as also was the pate. And the Crème Brulee was to die for! Overall a real treat to dine here.

Enjoyed a great meal at Deuxave with three friends the other night. Interesting neighborhood. Nice décor. Service was impeccable--friendly, attentive, not overbearing. Sommelier was very knowledgeable. Food was excellent. Appetizers included lobster gnocchi, duck confit and beet salad--all fantastic. Entrees included steaks, duck and a vegetarian option the chef whipped up--all were great as well. Just right. The desserts may... More

The food here was excellent. The Duck Confit was really crisp & just right. The onion Soup was very good, but Brasserie Jo still has the best in town, sorry. My Halibut was moist & tender, the way it should be. Richard had the Tagliatelle Bolognaise, which was some of the best he's ever had. For dessert we had the Opera... More

We had a great dinner at Deuxave our first night in Boston. Started with a cocktail and the bar then moved into the dining room. Sleek and modern interior and nicely not loud. We started with the duck confit, which was delicious. My husband had fish and I had burrata, both excellent. We had a great time, highly recommend!
