Description: Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

This restaurant was great. We were visiting Boston University and looking for a restaurant near by. What a nice surprise. Every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectation. The restaurant is a quiet and attractive venue with beautiful flowers. Our waitress was superb (sorry, we can't remember her name but she had a Russian accent). The food was excellent. We... More

This was quite simply our best meal in the USA. And if I add that we dined at a 3 Michelin starred restaurant in NYC it perhaps puts this accolade in some perspective. The room is elegant and understated and our table was spacious giving us both a full view of the dining room. Service was friendly and impeccable. Do... More

We went on a Tuesday night, was not too busy, lovely decor, attentive staff. We were seated in a booth, so it was quiet and conducive to conversation. We shared an appetizer that was a special, asparagus ravioli. It was delicious! My companion had the scallops as an entree and I had the halibut. Both were perfectly prepared with spring... More

Visited Boston this past weekend, based on some advance review of TA thought we'd try Deuxave. Easy taxi drive from downtown. Quaint, corner-situated restaurant in a residential area. Little confusing to our taxi driver. As landmarks go - tell driver restaurant is across from the Elliot Hotel. Great starters, pork trio nicely done, and recommend dessert - Panna cotta with... More

Prompted by the many rave reviews, we decided to try out Deuxave - the staff could not have been more accommodating. We highly recommend the beet salad appetizer with goat cheese which was spectacular along with the 2 hour egg salad (one of the best things I've had in a long time and not something you see all the time).... Given that this was rated as the #1 restaurant in Boston, I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a reservation within a couple of hours. We were not disappointed. The wine list is huge fortunately with a wide range of prices. The duck liver pate was nice but the accompaniments made it great. I had the best... More

Every time when we visit Boston, Deuxave is a must stop. It never disappoints. From the smiling hostess , to servers and managers - THUMBS UP!! Beautifull presentation and flavors that will make you wanna beg for more. Excellent wine list. Make sure to make reservations since they are always busy. Thank you Deuxave.

We had a long day attending the Boston Food Show and were considering just a slice of pizza for dinner when we stumbled on a write up for Deuxave. We were able to get a reservation at the most popular dining time in the US-7:00pm-with Zach, who was gracious on the phone. Zach also greeted us when we arrived-along with... More

We were looking for a special place to celebrate my husband's birthday and Duexave did not disappoint. The waiter was charming, going into great depth explaining dishes and wines to my newly 21 year old son. The food was fantastic, we all enjoyed both appetizers and main dishes. We would definitely return again.
