Description: Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

As a food enthusiast this was meant to be the highlight of my trip. I had booked well in advance and explained it was a first visit. Bad move - I was sat in a dark corner of the restaurant. The staff were polite and pleasant, although there was long wait for drinks. But it's the food which was an... More

I must admit that I have a bias against black walls, dark furniture with black paneling including those styrofoam paneled ceiling painted black which I guess is supposed to be romantic but i like to see my food. Fortunately the latter was really top-notch. We had the raviolis stuffed with corn which may sound uninteresting but they were incredibly delicious... More

I booked this restaurant based on its reputation. It certainly lived up to that. Just a beautiful meal, exceptional service and the staff were very attentive without being noticed, if you know what I mean. They were just there as soon as we wanted something. The decor is stunning as well. A meal to remember! Sally A Wollongong, Australia

Delicious food and good service. Outdoor garden nice in warm weather even if a bit noisy. Central location a help.

Well, my God, this restaurant certainly lives up to the majority of the reviews posted here. It's simply wonderful. We arrived an hour early on the off-chance that they'd have a table, and were sat on the little terrace outside in nano-seconds. I started with the Duet of Prime Beef Tartare & Wagyu Carpaccio and His Lordship ordered the Crispy... More

We had the pleasure of dining at Deuxave last Saturday evening. The environment was low keyed but alive, the staff was pleasant, but not overbearing, attentive, but not hovering. The cocktail list was extensive, as was the wine list. Our waiter, John, was a service master. The menu was well constructed with food to suit every taste. We can not... More

At the crossroads of two of Boston's most famous avenues, something very special is waiting! I'll begin with the service. All the staff were smiling and professional. Our server was particularly impressive; he was inobtrusive, informative and timely. But wait--he was a little bit more than that. I overheard a family at a nearby table tell our server that they... Overall an excellent dining experience. The atmosphere, service and food were top notch. Our server was helpful and attentive as were the serving support staff. This is a more upscale food restaurant but not stuffy so I really liked that aspect, anyone would be comfortable dining there. The location can't be beat. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions... More

Interesting flavours and textures, impressively presented and professionally served. The Heirloom Beets starter was earthy and well balanced. The sirloin was cooked perfectly to the requested medium-rare and was heavenly, although the fries "au canard" were perhaps a little over-seasoned. The quality of the Blueberry and Rocky Road desserts were in keeping with the rest of the eating experience. Highly... More
