Description: Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

I was passing this place by every day on the way to the convention center, so I figured why not? I figure you can't go too far wrong with a restaurant that's #1 on Tripadvisor. I only had two appetizers, but both were perfect, and it was more than enough for a dinner. The lobster gnocci had generous chunks of... More

Bastille Day is also our wedding anniversary. We dined there last night and had a perfect meal. We started with cocktails (French 75 & a Vesper) at the bar. The drinks were skillfully made and delicious. We then proceeded to dinner and feasted on foie gras and duck confit. I am a lover of foie gras and it was stunning... More

We loved our experience at Deuxave. My husband had the lobster gnocchi and ate it all. For dinner he had the scallops and I the NY steak both were cooked to perfection with incredible flavor and presentation. For dessert my husband (closet creme brulee expert) said its the best he's had...and attributed it to the wider shallower dish. Oh and... More

WE wanted to know why Deuxave was #1 on Trip advisor in Boston.... Was it hype? Absolutely not!! The food and service together scores a perfect 10! We started with Lobster with Gnocchi and the Crispy Duck Confit. Both were suggested as our servers favorites so we tried them and found both to be amazing! Our party of three then... More

With all the great reviews here I was really looking forward to this meal. Duck appetizer was excellent, the duck entree as was average. Deserts were a lost cause.

Be sure to try the lobster gnocchi, as well as the heirloom beets. Outstanding preparation as well as presentation! The halibut was fresh and divine (though they confused my order and brought scallops). The bolognese was a very small portion and not very flavorful. The waiter was unusually talkative and kept inserting himself with commentary into our dinner. We yearn... More

Duck, duck, terrine, and foie gras. These are just a few of the treats on the menu here. We had a beautiful 10 year wedding anniversary dinner at Deuxave and Wes, our server, treated us like royalty and was frankly one of the best servers we've ever encountered. Everything they serve is made in house, and most of their offerings... More

This was such a wonderful experience in Boston. Went with my boyfriend for dinner before going to the symphony. The atmosphere is very romantic, the service is impeccable. We had a delicious bottle of champagne and an even more delicious meal. Loved it!

In Boston for the 4th of July week and decided to try this place out. Had a reservation for Saturday evening and when we had arrived (was immediately seated) the weather was perfect: not hot or rainy and with a nice breeze... and decided to sit outside. The waiter and waitress were perfect as they suggested certain foods with what... More
