Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. so glad we stumbled on this place

A few years ago we had been to Deuxave for dessert after a disastrous dinner at a French Fondu restaurant across the road. Sadly at the time we didn't have any more evenings left in Boston and so couldn't return.... This year, as soon as I had booked my flights for this trip I made a mental note... read more

Great food, service and grace handling my multiple food allergies bring us back. The wine list is extensive without being burdensome. Cocktails are solid. The dishes are executed with classic techniques and but with contemporary flair. Many recall classic New England flavors but with more elegance than you might expect from humble ingredients. Check my IG for pics. @LDGourmet

My husband and I had dinner with good friends at Deuxave. It was my husband's first visit but my third time at Deuxave. While the food was fabulous on my previous two visits, this recent visit was disappointing for me, though the other 3 diners liked their dinner choices. I started with the beet appetizer, which was totally tasteless. The... More

Although the food was very nice, the whole dinner was ruined by the pushy and annoying service. Since nobody in my family drinks we decided to order a large bottle of water instead. Without asking for more, the waiter kept bringing more and more bottles and topping up our glasses even if we didnt want more. At some point during... More

Deuxave is a very good restaurant, with great food matched by excellent service. First I was served an amuse bouche which was very good. My appetizer was the warm foie gras, which was excellent, followed by a trio of ravioli which was also very good. As a bread lover I must add that the bread could and should have been... More

We were excited to return to Deuxave as we had two prior delicious meals here. We were seated in s booth that was cool and drafty and complained but were unable to be moved ... But the major issue was that when they brought out our main meal, after waitng for it for about 45 minutes, three out of the... More

Daryl was a great server, knew the food, wine, and made sure that even as a solo diner I was getting attention and service. He had a 10+ top next to me and still made sure to check in. Greeted with a glass of bubbly, a very nice way to welcome a diner. While I was warned that everything the... More

We booked this dinner for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We were greeted graciously at the door where they took our coats. We were then seated at a perfect table by the windows where we enjoyed the view and the snow falling. They came with a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary and then the fun really began. Amuse bouche... More

Arriving on a freezing winter night, we had very high hopes. The restaurant was very beautiful with nothing but perfect service throughout. The menu was not large but all of the items were creative and interesting. The kir royale to start was a perfect pour. The appetizer of lobster gnocchi was wonderful. The gnocchi melted in my mouth with fragrant... More

We absolutely wanted to love Deuxave, and left wanting more. Food was good but not great...same feeling about the cocktails. Ordered chicken, very small portion, served warm (not hot) which was a bit disappointing. Service was pretty good, and the manager flagged down a cab for us which was appreciated. Overall nice restaurant, we just were not wowed like we... More
