Good Atmosphere. Good for Special Dinner.

I had a dinner with my wife. The restaurant was located at three-minute walk from the Western end of Newbury Street. When I want an extra special meal or a great bar atmosphere without too much noise- Deuxave. While Deauxave is not cheap the food is superb, service outstanding and Boston's little gem.

A night on the town to celebrate would have been over in a flash, if our waitress had been able to serve us on her schedule. A couple of requests to order while we were having cocktails....after we announced that we did not want to rush.....pushed us to order our first course before we were ready. When we said that... We were thrilled when a truly first class restaurant opened within walking distance of our home. It is wonderful - consistently excellent food and service in a relaxed, but very attractive setting. It is bait pricy, but well worth the money.

I went for our Wedding Anniversary with another couple that was celebrating a 50th birthday. Great Location, Valet Parking ($18), they accommodated moving the reservation back 1 hour. Restaurant had a Paris feel, good table size not cramped, not too noise. Our waitress Nicole was the best I've had in years ( I know good service having been a waiter... More

We had dinner here for our anniversary and definitely were not disappointed. The ambiance is semi formal and the service is flawless. Appetizers of lobster with gnocchi were lovely and lamb loin and duck breast entrées were both superb. The wine list is extensive but priced at about three times retail. Our server, Viktoria, was vey knowledgeable about the food... More

Very comfortable and visually pleasing restaurant, and the food was pretty good, but the snobbishness of the front-end staff, along with the high prices, will probably stop us from going back. It's a shame because our waitress (Russian blond woman) was amazing, and the menu had some interesting items.
