Description: Co-Owners Brian Piccini and Executive Chef Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

Had dinner last night at Deuxave with my wife and her sister and husband. This is probably the 5th time that I've eaten at Deuxave in the last few years and every time I absolutely love the place - from beginning to end. There is something so relaxed and understated about this place - yet the food and service is... More

3 of us met there for dinner on a Sunday night, street parking was easy to find and free because it was Sunday. Restaurant very easy to find, chatted with the valet while waiting for my guest and was very informative and pleasant. Upon walking in we were warmly greeted and being early we went to the bar and had... More

I took my wife to this place in early October to celebrate our anniversary. This is a very aesthetically pleasing place - well designed and quite dramatic decor. The welcome was friendly and we were given a choice of table. Overall it was a very pleasant evening - friendly waiter, nice food and a good wine selection recommended by the... More

We were looking for a restaurant in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. After consulting Trip Advisor for hotel and restaurant suggestions, we realized that Deuxave was right across the street from our choice of hotels, the Elliot. The menu was not huge but listed many appealing choices. My husband chose onion soup, duck breast, and the pumpkin white chocolate soufflé. I... More

We had dinner here with another couple last night and were very disappointed. We were seated next to a large group that were very noisy. I asked the hostess to reseat us. She nicely explained that there were two large groups in the restaurant and suggested that we have dinner in the bar area. We were reseated and waited and... More

What a great meal we had. We each had the hake and it was a cornucopia of flavors -- each flavor complementing the other. The service was attentive and the ambient noise level just right. We started with the eggs with white truffles and also split the winter salad. All quite good. The only slight negative is that I believe... More

I am always immediately impressed when I set a reservation, the restaurant follows up the day before, and they are fully prepared to seat you upon arrival. Thus started a wonderful Saturday evening meal during the Holiday season. The menu is somewhat limited, but has a solid array, and clearly leans French. I split a truffle stuffed roasted chicken with... More

It's no proper compare pizza (the first restaurant in tripadvisor) with this place. This place must stay in the best position compatible with an international ranking. I know that the trip advisor is made only by users but compare a place that make pizza with this paradise is not aceptable! Boston, be proud! Deuxave can stay in the same position... More

Met some friends in Boston for our annual dinner get together, chose Deuxave, still have trouble pronouncing the name because it is suppose to be the hot place to eat in the city. We had a great table off in an alcove so it was cozy. I am a picky eater and had a few choices I would have been... More

Ok, I'll say it. I miss restaurants with plates bigger than my hand. I miss restaurants that are not as loud as the end of the runway at the airport. Deuxave is a great restaurant that offers a delicious meal, served by well trained servers and a very good wine list that isn't overly marked up. I had a venison... More
