This was our first time at Ariana, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lovely, with beautiful rugs on the floors and a helpful and friendly waiter. The food was delicious, especially the eggplant appetizer (banjan). The restaurant is leaving its current location in about 10 days and reopening on Western Avenue, where the parking will be much... We always walk by this place, and I just wish we had stopped in sooner. The cuisine was delicious, service was great, and we'll definitely be back again. We tried the Kaddo, which was really good, and I had the Dopiaza, and my boyfriend had Sabzi Challow. As good as my dish was, I think the Sabzi Challow is more... More

Loved this Afghani restaurant. Have had Afghani food before but this was much better and also more reasonable. I has the Mourgh Challow which was delicious. My friends had vegetarian options which were also terrific. They served excellent flatbreads that were hot. Also desserts, rice pudding with pistachio and cardamom and the cream dessert with fresh fruit were both very... More

Five friends, celebrating three birthdays, six appetizers, five entrees, one bottle of wine, five deserts, five coffees. No complaints! Five picky eaters left Arianna eager to return.

After travelling on business for a week it was nice to go to a great little restaurant serving something different. My first try of the cuisine of Afghanistan and I was impressed . Good service, wonderful food , reasonably price wine list good ambience. Would go back when next in Boston.

Best afghani food that we've ever had! Family owned and the bread is the best! We've been here a few times and the food has always been amazing!

Excellent dinner at this Restaurant, that serves the flavors of Afganistan. Be careful that you park legally in the neighborhood. Their are roving tow trucks, that will tow your illegally parked car before you sit down.

A great Afghan restaurant. This was my first experience with Afghan food and I'm happy to give it a try! The local is simple, clean and welcoming in a nice and lively spot of Boston, but the food is the real star. There is a great variety of dishes from the starters to the main dishes and it's a good... Entering this restaurant, you are welcome by a med easter music. The atmosphere is nice and waiters very kind. When you seat, you receive some just prepared flat bread with some butter and spicy souces, very nice. The food is nice, with a good selection of dishes even for vegetarians. The price is not cheap, but even not exagerate. This... More

Never crowded. We have been here perhaps 10 times in the past 3 years. There is always a vegetarian option for our non-carnivore friends. The caddo (pumpkin) is a favorite of mine, my wife likes the lamb chops. The wine list is limited but the Shiraz blend we had was fine. This is only the 2nd Afghan restaurant in the... More
