When we arrived at Menton, the host was on the phone. He motioned for us to have a seat in their waiting area. We felt a little bit like we were waiting to meet with an attorney rather than have dinner. Once he finished his call he took our names and showed us to our table. The first thing I... More

We have to Menton twice, and have yet to find its equal in Boston. The service is extraordinarily high touch, with knowledgable and well trained servers. The room is beautiful. And the food is near perfect: interesting, creative, and unique. The amount of preparation and thought that goes into each dish and the way in which each is presented and... More

What an amazing restaurant! Great service. Great menu. Great food. Lovely added touches of several amuse-bouches brought to my table. Each bite was delicious. You get what you pay for. This is a very pricey meal. But it's a treat to be spoiled. Visit if you're looking for fine dining in Boston.

Wonderful place for a special occasion. The food was amazing and the service surpassed all expectation. Excellent wine recommendations through out the meal. Pricey but worth it.

This is not an inexpensive meal to say the least but it was an educational experience as well as a memorable one. The food and wine were above any experience we have had the pleasure of in the Boston area. My husband and I decided to go there because it was near his office and I was coming into the... More

I currently rate Menton best in Boston, ahead of Deuxave, Sorrellina etc. The dining room is more traditional but the tables are well-spaced. Important when making your reservation to specify a table on the perimeter of the room; there are tables 'floating" in the middle of the dining room that aren't as pleasant. Enjoyed the $95 prix fixe four course... More

Which is a tough thing to do at this place. I wandered past this walking to hotel from a conference and was drawn in by the Relais & Chateau emblem on the door. I thought it was a hotel as I didn't realize they badged restaurants as well. Was I in for a pleasant surprise! Amazing dining experience. You must... More

I really didn't want to go. It was for a friends birthday that we went in a small group. I am sorry I waited so long to eat here. It was probably the best meal I ever ate. The service is beyond fabulous, I felt as if I were eating at a friend's house, an extremely good cook and friend.... More

I had heard that Menton was one of the finest restaurants in the world. Having been to some of them (French Laundry (Ca.), Noma (Copenhagen) Le Louis XV( Monte Carlo), and most of the 5 star restaurants in NYC, I felt safe in choosing it for my husband's special 60th birthday dinner. I cannot say enough about the food and... More
