Hip place. Erratic service: our main waiter's attitude surfed between unacceptably forgetful and quite attentive; some dishes took forever to arrive. The food ranged from mediocre to very good (with none being brilliant.) Overall, not a bad evening, but definitely not what is to be expected from a restaurant bearing the name of a celibrity chef.

A lovely restaurant with a warm atmosphere, perfect for both family and corporate dining. The service was very good- our waiter was quite attentive. The chocolate fondant was definitely a highlight desert. Highly recommended

I had the Maine lobster with sautéed cut corn jalapeno, lime & basil which was delicious. I paired it with Veuve Clicquot by the glass.

My girlfriend and I went to Market after a movie on a Saturday night. We live in the North End of Boston and always tell ourselves that we should go to Market more often. We are fans of Jean George restaurants (ABC Kitchen in New York City probably being our favorite). The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night... More

This isn't a destination restaurant, merely somewhere you eat if you happen to stay in the W. Judged on this basis, the food is good, not great. But shouldn't a hotel like the W aspire for more than this? On to the food - my tuna tartare was rather bland, however I must admit the parmesan crusted chicken was actually... More

Very chic! Menu is rather simple, but our server - who was amazing - was very helpful in making decisions. My kind of food personally - simply prepared. Not much foo foo, but different enough to make it special. Started with calamari that wasn't special, but definitely good. Shared a heirloom and tomato salad that was amazing. Most of our... More

from the outset, I hated the "ambience" - there isn't any. the decor is all cold hard stone metal glass pure deadly techno-gloomy, disguised as high style. the food disappointed too. .started with gazpacho - the bright note of my meal. billed as watermelon gazpacho with lemon verbena oil. didn't notice any watermelon -. seemed to be tomato based, poured... This would have been a nice meal had it not been so salty!! I chose a burger, which was fine, and actually cooked just the way I like it. I also had some jalapeno balls, however, which were inedible, and my friend's fries were extremely oversalted. We actually told the waiter about the fries and he did oblige and get... More

Reviews of disappointment are a theme for this restaurant despite chef accolades of achievement. Try Market and while you are there partner with your server to get the best selections. My date decided to stay true to his tastes and not ask what was great that night on the menu...I did a "top two" selection, asked the server what was... More

Some things were good, some were not. Service was less than stellar. You can do better for the money.
