This was hands down one of the best Italian-American meals I've ever had. We arrived without reservation on a busy night and even though the hostess had a hundred things going on she was still welcoming and friendly. We were told to come back in one hour if we wanted and I'm glad we did! I could tell that some... More

Quaint, small wonderful restaurant. Don't let the "disappointing" reviews sway you from checking this place out. Relax, be patient, and enjoy an evening of wonderful food. The four of us had different entrees and they were all fantastic. Reasonably priced.

Our expectations might have been too high as we read such a high score for this restaurant by Zagat, but the food was not more than ok, average Italian touristic restaurant. Nothing unique, nothing special. Above all - the service was horrible. Maybe the server was so rude and aggressive and slow cause he know they are anyway going to... More

We ate here on our first night of our first ever visit to Boston. A wonderful way to start a great weekend in a great city. We made reservations for seven and arrived a bit early. The restaurant was full when we arrived but we were seated by 7, contrary to the experience of some other reviewers. The service was... More

Walking around the North End on a Monday night, this was one of the busiest restaurants on Hanover, so I figured it must be good. Was alone and able to be seated pretty much right away. It's a little small and crowded, but still a good atmosphere. The bread was great, and the Little Neck clam linguine with white sauce... More

Wonderful little restaurant in North End. Seemed to be family run. Food was excellent and reasonably priced on both food and wine. We were there for lunch so can't attest to dinner. I would definitely go back.

We were wandering through the North End and decided to find somewhere for lunch and having done no prior research, basically found the first open restaurant that actually had customers. The restaurant is small and cozy, with the tables fairly close together, but still reasonably comfortable. We had a short wait while a table was cleaned. The menu has a... More

I'm a newer Bostonian and I have been to 7 or 8 North End restaurants, some with bigger reputations, but this was the best meal I've had. There are more creative places...most of the menu here is pretty standard Italian fare...but everything was perfectly prepared. Good $4 beers and big $6 pours of wine were on the menu. I think... As I toured Boston today with my husband, I craved authentic Italian food that I have missed since my parents moved us from NY/Boston to AZ. This restaurant fulfilled that craving without doubt. There are Italian restaurants fillling thr streets of the North End of Boston, but this one was small and intimate and a line out the door. We... More
