Enjoyed the meal

Lobster Mac and Cheese made me a lobster fan! My wife said she had the BEST lobster roll ever! Quaint, crowded, on the waterfront mostly a take out market with tables.

First off, we got there minutes before they were about to close and they stayed open for us. The raw oysters and clams were so flavorful you almost didn't need any condiments. Overall, fresh seafood in a friendly and authentic environment. Great for a quick snack (the harbor is one block away so you can go for a nice walk... More

Located just off the interstate, this shack offers parking which eveyone knows is a prime commodity in downtown Boston. So make a dash up and order your fresh lobster roll! If you are craving for lobster, this resto makes it very convenient to satisfy that craving.

This was our first stop in Boston. I had read lots of reviews (some negative but it's rated so high) First of all the Hispanic young man that waited on us does not need to be doing this job!! We were here to try our first Lobster Roll! I asked him how it was made- with butter? I said" No... More

Lobster rolls! Lobster Rolls and oh yes LOBSTER ROLLS!!! We ate lunch here twice during a 3 1/2 day stay. Place your order for a regular roll (the larges are pretty big)-get it to go. You can then either sit outside at a picnic table or cross the street to the Rose Kennedy Greenway and enjoy your roll in the... More

Heard about the great lobster rolls at James Hook & Co. They are delicious! Lots of tender lobster meat on a fresh roll. In the financial district of downtown Boston near the harbor. A few tables inside and more picnic tables outside. Very casual. I believe they close around 3 or 4. Only open for lunch.

Four lobster rolls and a bowl of chowder!! Perfect lunch on a beautiful summer day in Boston. The staff was busy with long lines and all, but took the time to ask where I was from and had some small talk. Food was delish!

We went just for the Lobster Rolls...every time we are in the New England region, I look for a location that will surpass my previous lobster roll experience in Maine (Boothbay) many years ago...and thanks to our trolley guide, we found it. My mother and I had a regular lobster roll each. The portions were generous, the lobsters was fresh... More

Arrived at 10:30AM. No line. Got seats inside. So excited to finally have seafood that really tastes like the sea. But no luck. Clam chowder was warm, not hot and mostly potatoes. Lobster roll was tasteless. 2 pound lobster was huge, looked more like 2.5+ lbs. Lobster came super fast and piping hot. But clearly overcooked. And still missing the... More

Managed to eat here 'by the skin of my teeth' - wanted to find the 'best lobster roll in Boston' and having read some reviews realised that it was virtually next door to the hotel I was staying at ... but only found this our at 4pm - and this place closes at 5 ... Hubby and I decided to... More
