Went here today after the Boston tea Party Museum and had the Clam chowder which was remarkeable. Definitely would recommend to anyone else.

Went here with a co-worker during a business trip to Boston. This place has great fresh seafood. You can actually pick your lobster inside and have them steam it for you. Limited seating inside and some tables in the parking lot outside. It's all about the food here. Best lobster roll I've ever had and also the best clam chowder.... More

I really appreciate that you took the time to write a thoughtful review, Peter. However, we don't sell alcohol, so perhaps you meant to write a review for a different restaurant. Still, I hope that you come check us out -- I don't think you'll be disappointed! Hope to see you, John M., Owner More

Looking at this place from the outside, you wouldn't think it was anything special. Once you get inside you can see all of their fresh seafood offerings. Lobster roll was loaded with meat, and on a simple bun. Got it with butter instead of the mayo spread and it was fresh and delicious.

I'm excited that we were able to surprise you with our lobster roll. It was a great choice to try it with butter instead of mayo, but if you ever come back, we hope you try out the mayo too. Can't wait to see you back! Warm wishes, John M., Owner More

It was our last day in Boston before flying back to the UK and Jan had one last thing on the list to tick off which was to get a lobster roll, we had resisted the temptation throughout the holiday ( and yes I know it's a very touristy thing to do but hey that what we are ) So... More

(but we'll round up this time) Just our type of place, really simple, no frills (basically a trailer)....Really had high expectations, all the tables were taken by the time we were eating, and luckily it wasn't out of the way, but the famed lobster rolls and chowda were nothing spectacular, sad to say. The bottom line is they lacked a... More

I'm glad that you stopped in, but it's disappointing to hear that we couldn't wow you and your family with the lobster and chowder. Our goal is to use the finest quality ingredients and then let them shine on their own, so that may explain the difference in flavor you experienced here. If you come back to Boston, I hope... More

The freshest seafood in town in a little corner in town. The food here is absolutely the best seafood ever and the prices are resonable. Pick your lobster have it cooked and lunch is served. This became lunch and dinner every other day, it's that good. Don't miss the chowder and lobster bisque """" outstanding"""""... Not big on lobster rolls... More

It means the world to me that you thought that both the chowder and lobster bisque were outstanding and that we have the best seafood ever. The ambience is good, popular with theatre patrons. sometimes a wait, but for us a long sociable night was on the agenda. The food was imaginative- a limited menu, well executed, though slightly overpriced for petite but adequate portions. Excellent wait staff.
