Breakfast's a treat.

Excellent breakfast, good coffee, friendly attentive staff and nice décor. Especially enjoyed Irish Steel cut oatmeal served with dried cranberries with golden raisins, toasted almonds and brown sugar on the side. Large enough serving to share.

Dear Contributor, Yes, and still the most important meal of the day so thank you for starting your day at North 26! As our mom's always told us "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and unfortunately today so many opt for an overpriced coffee, sugar loaded sweet and a handheld device. Your enjoying this time to start... More

Kathy, the bartender, rocks this place, not to mention the rest of the breakfast staff. She really made our stay at the Bostonian enjoyable. Not only is she extremely entertaining, she also took time to teach the virgin whole lobster eater how to get to all the tasty morsels. Never had lunch there, but breakfast and dinner were outstanding. CHEERS!

Dear SF, Thank you for traveling east and spending your vacation/holiday with us at North 26 and our amazing team! Kathy is a 'rock star', and as a Bostonian is an inherent lobster connoisseur whom loves to share the secret on how to get the sweetest part of every crustacean. Happy to hear that she is sharing her secrets, and... More

We went in for a drink at North 26 and met Kathy who was serving us from the bar. She highly suggested that we try the restaurants Lobster dinner which several in our group did while sitting at the bar. She under sold the meal ! It was excellent in every way ! Amazingly well prepared and very obviously super... More

Dear Lobster Lover, We could not agree more and thank you for sharing our mutual passion for one of Boston's favorite summer specialties! Our summer lobster deal, just $20, has been enormously successful and our partnership with James Hook Co is unparalled in the city. This special is readily available based on what the days' catch can bring, as this... More

Dear Top Contributor, Thank you for celebrating your birthday at North 26 Restaurant and we are excited that we were able to share this special night. Certainly our Lobster special, at $20, is a traditional New England fare and simply boiled lobster is an easy dish. Only wish your comments were more specific as this dish sells about 1200 each... We had lovely breakfasts here and their lunch choices were reasonable and very good. We had the lobster bake special dinner on the night we arrived. It was good but not fabulous--but the price of $20 was incredible so we were happy.

We had to ask for everything. Butter for the waffles, cream for the coffee, MORE coffee. Service was slow at the time we visited and there weren't many customers around..

Dear Reviewer, We failed at meeting your expectations, my apologies. I can assure you that your comments will be reviewed with my team and I know they, like I, are disappointed. Simply, breakfast is not a difficult meal to get right and it appears that someone on the team was not to standard and we will address. Thank you for... More

Breakfast had everything from plain to fancy. Great service all the way around and a nice atmosphere. Our server was Rollins and he made our last meal in Boston a delight. I didn't get the hostesses name but she was great during our whole stay and a true professional.

The décor is sleek and contemporary. For lunch, we enjoyed salmon burgers with greens and aioli on toasted brioche. The accompanying fries were addictive and came in a miniature fryer basket. For brunch, I enjoyed fluffy blueberry pancakes with a side of mixed fresh berries. Tea was fresh-brewed and the orange juice was fresh-squeezed.

Dear Top Contributor, Thank you for your visit and comments during your recent visit to Boston. Yes, we must agree that the french fries are a favorite and often receive similar reaction to the fryer basket. Chef Brant is paticular about every food option and sourcing locally, greater New England area, preserves flavor. We look forward to your return, Robert... More

We tried this not knowing it was a hotel restaurant. With that said the staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the set up and feel of the place. It is across the street from Faneuil Hall. The halibut was very good. The steak was average.

Dear Top Contibutor, Thank you for your recent visit while visiting Boston and we respect your comments. Truly, while we appreciate your review it has left us without tangible culinary critique from which to comment. The Halibut is sourced from Atlantic waters, fresh never frozen, and presented with simple ingredients so as to not disturb the true taste and texture.... More

Stopped by for dinner (we didn't make reservations anywhere and this place had capacity). My friend ordered the scallops and pasta and wasn't impressed (pasta was a little under cooked and the scallops were not seared enough). My asparagus salad was lovely though! The wait staff was friendly but we did have to remind them of part of our drink... More

Dear Contributor, With sincere apologies we are equally disappointed that your overal experience was below our mutual expectations. My team is dedicated to creating memorable dishes and it appears that this new dinner menu entree fell short and it will be reviewed. As we host 100+ covers daily, and although this was the only issued concern, it still warrants correction.... More
