Excellent lobster at an affordable price in Boston

We had a wonderful dinner for 9 at 26 North. Their lobster special was excellent, the wait staff were attentive and they have a great wine list.

Was staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant so decided to try the breakfast. While the food was good, it was highly over priced for breakfast. I would suggest trying it for dinner since they were advertising a lobster bake for $20 which is a bargain. I paid $17.00 for fruit, coffee and a croissant.

Dear Past Guest, Thank you for your hotel stay during your recent Boston excursion and we hope that your overall stay was satisfactory. We hear your comment related to pricing for breakfast and many times have toiled over fresh product, delivered daily versus pre-packaged frozen. However, and unanimously, have decided that a fresh product is in keeping with our hotels'... More

Tried here during restaurant week, 2 course lunch for $20. My lunch companion and I both got the lobster bisque and the swordfish, both were outstanding. The bread they give you is also unique, a mixture of white, wheat, and cranberry walnut breads. They have good lunch deals also, soup and half sandwiches or salad for $12, and pizzas as... More

American cuisine with a "fish" imprinting. Good clam chowder, crab and lobster salads as well. Service efficient and the place is nice and clean. Good

I had the lobster special with two beers at the restaurant that is owned by the hotel. The restaurant staff are very friendly but the bathroom is all the way on the other side of the entrance. The lobster was excellently priced and it is excellent when it comes to taste. The restaurant is located in the entrance of the... More

Were tempted by the $20 lobster special and decided to try this quiet restaurant a few feet from Fanueil Hall. . We started with chowder which was perfect. I ordered the Swordfish, which was served with a light wine sauce over risotto with grilled asparagus. Perfect! Spouse had lobster special with potato fingerlings. Again, perfect. We enjoyed the meal so... More

We had dinner here twice during our stay. The first time we ordered from the menu and the chowder was excellent. My partner had the mahi mahi which was good. We noticed the lobster special at this first meal and decided to come back the next night and try it. The deal is excellent for the price. $20 gets you... More

Excellent breakfast, good coffee, friendly attentive staff and nice décor. Especially enjoyed Irish Steel cut oatmeal served with dried cranberries with golden raisins, toasted almonds and brown sugar on the side. Large enough serving to share.

Dear Contributor, Yes, and still the most important meal of the day so thank you for starting your day at North 26! As our mom's always told us "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and unfortunately today so many opt for an overpriced coffee, sugar loaded sweet and a handheld device. Your enjoying this time to start... More

Kathy, the bartender, rocks this place, not to mention the rest of the breakfast staff. She really made our stay at the Bostonian enjoyable. Not only is she extremely entertaining, she also took time to teach the virgin whole lobster eater how to get to all the tasty morsels. Never had lunch there, but breakfast and dinner were outstanding. CHEERS!
