Wonderful Breakfast

I stayed at the Millennium for a week in November. There's plenty of other options nearby, but none were as convenient and delicious as North 26, especially for breakfast.

The food here is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh meat and seafood. Great wine list. Not a place just for travelers.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments, and visit, and I must agree that our breakfast is one of this city's best. Chef Brant proudly hosts predominantly locally sourced products for N26 Restaurant and Bar and this has enormous impact on taste. This place is really a fun place for dinner or a drink. The staff is the same every year, so it is nice to see the same folks year after year. They are friendly and keep both the bar and restaurant area upbeat and fun. The menu contains nearly anything one might want and it is cooked well and presented... More

Dear North 26 Patron, Thank you for your return visits and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Our team is very consistent and our key waitstaff and bartenders are each no less than 10 years on staff, and most have been here for 15+. This is true for our culinary team as well, and why such consistency. We hope to... More

We booked a reservation on Open Table about an hour in advance for six people. The round table in the front corner was a great spot by the large windows. The food was good, nothing spectacular. The Manchego cheese croquettes were delicious! The service was okay and the waiter was friendly. However, the hostess and manager seemed a bit aloof... More

My family reserved a table for ten. Our daughter had recently turned 21 and we were looking for a central and historical area for lunch! The salmon was outstanding and the pre-meal dinner rolls excellant! We stayed well after the nice luncheon talking and exchanging gifts. The staff were wonderful and even though we stayed well after our meal was... More

We arrived in Boston on what was billed as 'National Lobster Day' (25 September?) and after wandering around the Freedom Trail we happened upon this venue - central, smart and welcoming. The Lobster Special was brilliant value - the resto was soon packed - and tasted great. The service was discrete and helpful. We got there early but some who... More

Dear Visitor, How fortunate you were to arrive in Boston on National Lobster Day and to find North 26 to celebrate! Our summer lobster campaign, at $20 was an enormous hit and we sold just over 2900 and almost a similar number of Sam Adams. Lobster is a New England tradition and it is never better than summer and early... More

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Millennium hotel but North 26 at The Millennium is just average. Now to be fair, I only had breakfast there and it was just average, nothing special, and really (the potatoes) were not seasoned very well. They did have a dinner special, lobster for $20.00 but after having breakfast there we opted to eat dinner... More

We took a break from work and went to the restaurant that was connected to our hotel. Glad we came the week of the Lobster special. We were able to get a whole lobster with soup, corn on the cob and a potato for 20 bucks!!!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
