Great Place

Went to this place with my husband for a late breakfast. Have an amazing omelette, outstanding hashbrowns and delightful pot of green tea.my husband had the eggs Benedict with a muffin. It isn't cheap but the attention to detail, service and quality of the food is worth the additional cost.

Let me start by saying our server was very good but the food quality, portions and presentation certainly do not live up to the pricing. This restaurant is part of the Millenium Boston hotel which is next door to Faneuil Hall marketplace and Boston's North End so there are countless other choices that will most certainly offer a better value no... Truly disappointing food. Take a nice hotel, classy looking restaurant, and add food so bad no chain would be caught dead serving it, and you have North 26. Disgustingly butter and flavorless soup, forgettable mains, overall we still joke about this place as a great example of reasonably strong online overall star ratings being dead wrong. Don't make our mistake.

Dear A L, Well it appears that even great hotels, with great restaurants can disappoint a local hotel food critic as noted in your around town reviews and we are concerned. Chef Julia and I, after reading your review, are eager to speak with you and learn more of your experience and culinary expertise so that we might evaluate more... More

I recently stayed at the hotel during one of Boston's many snow storms this winter. The restaurant became my haven looking out to the snow fall with a yummy lobster Caesar salad. The service was wonderful and a big shout out to the man who gave me hot skim milk every morning for my complimentary coffee from the lobby. You... More

Dear Contributor, Thank you taking time to post a separate review for North 26, to that of your guest room, and we agree that our Lobster promo is a value. As seasons shift, we attempt to offer the $20 Lobster Bake whenever market price allows, and in the winter months' it is hit or miss. And, nothing is more traditional... More

Had breakfast twice while staying at the hotel. Recommend the egg white frittata with veggies and the oatmeal. It is pricey, as any hotel restaurant, but the $5 coffee is over the top expensive, especially when you have to ask for more (happened each time). Had drinks twice in the bar in the evening and had a nice conversation with... More

My wife and I had dinner at this hotel restaurant. My wife started with a mushroom ragout with polenta and I had a really tasty Caesar salad. Both dishes were very tasty. My wife had Vermont chicken with the promise of sprouts and green beans and asked for the sauce on the side. It came with 4 green beans, one... More

A group of us dined here and we we all enjoyed our meals. The service was fantastic and the cocktails are delish! I enjoyed the Millennium and Wall Street martini and both were great! We started with two appetizers: spicy shrimp and crab cake. Both were tasty and enjoyed by all. I ordered the braised short rib and it was... More
