This is my go to brunch spot. The crab cake Benedict is amazing, and even the side greens are delicious. The wait to get in if often substantial, but always worth it.

We started with the Bloody Mary's, yummy, don't miss out! Baked spinach and artichoke dip is a must to start. I had the burger, fantastic. Unfortunately I do not remember our other dish. Neat atmosphere, great service!

Slightly disappointed by this place. Prices are high, my burger was well too overcooked and fries very average. Also the server was serious that it made the experience complicated. A so-so impression

I thought the food was pretty good. I had the skirt steak over fries and it was $29! Expensive for such a cheap cut of meat. It was good, but not any better than anywhere else that would serve that type of food. The wine was quite high too. The location was great and the restaurant was nice and clean.... More

Just ok, maybe just turning to many tables. Nice setting on Newburyport, nice place to people watch. Service and food just didn't do it for me.

I ate here with my husband. He had lobster and mac cheese which he said was delicious. I ordered parmesan chicken on a bed of rigatone pasta. The food when it arrived looked extremely unappetising. The chicken breast had been flattened, covered in breadcumbs and parmesan and then smothered in mozzarella. It tasted ok but when I pointed out to... More

We ate here having just flown in from the UK. Short walk from our Inn, it was a great recommendation by our hosts. Superb salads, great service and interesting spot for people and dog-watching!

This is a very popular place in a trendy area for dining for Boston's well heeled middle classes. Service was friendly and efficient, the food pretty good but a little expensive (especially the wine) in my opinion. Good for a group outing with friends but a bit loud at weekends for a an intimate dinner.

Our last day in Boston & we wanted a special brunch. We certainly got it here! Great location, super friendly staff (Sarah was an exceptional waitperson), and the food! You have to try the salty pretzel crusted lump crab cake eggs benedict. Fantastic!

Staying in South End

Neighborhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
