We visited this restaurant whilst staying for four days in Boston. Our waitress was wonderful and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. However we felt it was expensive for relatively average food.

Spilling over on to the sidewalk when weather permits, Petit Robert Bistro, offers authentic French food, authentic neighborhood clientele (and the South End is diverse and exciting), and the warmth and buzz of folks getting together to enjoy. While the food is reliably good (not too much excitement on that front) and the wine list is frankly just adequate, the... More

This small bistro is located in a charming neighbourhood is Boston's South End. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a small bar. The food is "the real ting" with classic dishes from all over France. Their house pate starter (a dish I use to "test" a new place) was excellent. The service was friendly, my only complaint was the... More

The food was actually not bad but the service was just a mess, Wrong drinks came, wrong food came.......twice, bill was wrong, actually in my favor but I corrected it and got little thanks, should have kept my mouth shut. Just not a good night out but I guess those nights happen.

The bread is incredible! Then I ordered the steak with fries and it was very well cooked. I ordered the tarte for dessert and was just as the ones in France. Everything was delicious and the place is very nice

The only thing I have to warn you about is that your conversation may suffer, because you will be to busy going "mmmm !" I went here with a friend and that is pretty much what we did. I had a potage and it was delicious. The atmosphere is fun and informal, and the prices are reasonable!

This Bistro was suggested by our B&B host, although we'd seen it while walking to the B&B. The bread was fabulous, by the way. The food was excellent, well prepared, nicely served, and so very tasty. And the prices were reasonable. We were lucky to get a window seat and could watch the people walk by and the sky as... More

Couldn't fault the food here - I had a rack of lamb that was delicious and perfectly cooked. Also enjoyed a plate of Macarons for dessert, which was a nice option to have, and they also were very well made. A reasonable distance to Downtown too, which was good for us.
