Overall, although very generous wine pours for a tasting, the menu wasn't a "tasting" menu. It was a full 3 course menu with an amuse bouche considered as the 4th course that was from their regular menu. Most americans might deem this worthy but for a tasting/wine pairing we were expecting more unique & creative options. Based on the "tasting"... More

We had an excellent brunch at this cozy restaurant over graduation weekend. Service was solicitous, and the food was terrific!!

I took a friend her for a special birthday lunch. The restaurant was almost empty, not a good sign. While the service was fairly good, the food was inconsistent. The appetizers were very good (artichokes and the agnolotti) and the oven roasted cod entree was excellent. But the chicken, my friend's choice was dry and tasteless. The dessert was particularly... Excellent and unique food options. Service was just okay. The hen egg appetizer was amazing! The dessert was equally unique and tasty. Entrees were prepared well and cooked to order. Ask for a table near the window for some great people watching in the heart of the city. The bar scene at asana seems to be consistently busy and lively.

Decided to try out breakfast at this beautiful property in Boston. From the moment we walked in the service was above and beyond. The breakfast menu has a great selection, quality was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet, relaxed and made us enjoy the meal, each other and the lovely quality service.

Asana was our choice for Valentine's Day evening ... our first visit. The contemporary design of the dining area and the separate bar area was quite impressive ... and unique for Boston. The excellent service was also quite noteworthy and clearly driven by the Mandarin Oriental. The food we enjoyed was very good. We'll be back!

Food was good and service was quick. Unfortuntaly atmosphere is not the best - very close to the bar which is far too loudly ( music and guests ), difficult to relax. Relatively expensive.

At first glance the menu seemed limited and uninspired, so my wife ordered the flat iron steak and I ordered the skirt steak. Both steaks were as good as we've had anywhere! The ambiance is pleasant, service good and the accoutrements are just fine.

While not comparable to top French restaurants in NYC, we had an excellent meal here. Drinks were great to start and the 2 pound lobster (completely de-shelled and placed on the plate) was fantastic. My favorite dish was the black cod with kale chips - great blend of flavors. The side of wild mushrooms was also excellent. The cavatappi was... More

we have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years and I find the quality and value is diminishing. The staff are attentive and kind but the quality of food has definitely lowered over time. We will look elsewhere before eating here again although the atmosphere is pleasant.
