24 lunch specials (including duck) all under $9! Dinner menu is 8 pages long. This charming place is only 14 feet wide. It stays full of locals, mostly Asians, because it is deliciously authentic. They have reasonably priced beer and wine too.

Within a week ate here and Bangkok City. This place is very average in comparison - stodgy, unauthentic and their sticky rice was awful and the wine and beer warm....complained about warm beer and they just thought it funny...will not return.

The food was great. Many vegetarian options. The service was good. My husband always complains about portions being too small, but not here!

Pho Basil is a compact place with a large menu featuring Vietnamese & Thai dishes. We were a party of 4 & were able to be seated right away which was fortunate as there is no bar or waiting area and it was raining out. There are many selections on the menu and it took a while to decide what... More

We had really good food. There was a lot of food for a small prize. We will be in Boston for another 4 days and we'll come back every night.

I included this restaurant in our trip itinerary since it is within the shopping district of Copley and Newbury street, had positive reviews and within budget. Moreover, i love Thai food. It is a few steps from the Hynes station on the green line. We arrived at 6 pm which was a good time because shortly after the restaurant was... More

We are from Canada vacationing for a few days in Boston. Amidst enjoying much seafood during our stay, we wanted to try Thai. This restaurant was recommended and it was a short distance from out hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing flavours, spice and different presentation of the Mango Salad from the usual! The portions were extremely generous... More

We had the Saigon noodles and the pad see you (yes, they spell it that way). Both were good although I think I preferred the flavor of the pad better. I liked that they had a variety of food including some Vietnamese dishes like pho, which I was tempted to try but didn't. We arrived at 5:30 and had no... More

I used to frequent Pho Basil when I worked in the neighborhood. consistently great food. The "Tom Yum" has the perfect mix of spicy and citrus.
