I eat here at least twice a week for the last four years and the food is always fresh, hot and delicious! The service is always warm and friendly and FAST! My favorite is The spicy jungle noodle or the rice plates and you can never miss with the curries. Lots of fresh veggies too! A gem in back bay.

Ate here Friday night. The service was fast and good. I had a vegetarian pho which was excellent and my husband had pork pad thai, also excellent. The flavors are fresh and well-presented and we had food to bring home. We have eaten here before and have never been disappointed.

Flavorful, big portioned Thai/Vietnamese lunch place along Mass Ave near Berklee School of Music. A short worthwhile walk from Hynes. Some of the best Thai I've had in Boston. Good pad Thai, and great looking Thai curries, the kind you just want to breath in for a bit before devouring them. Very reasonable/inexpensive and very friendly staff.

We opted for delivery to our hotel, as the line was out the door. We ordered the drunken noodles and a small order of the pho tai. The order arrived hot, and the portion sizes were much bigger than anticipated. Both dishes were very good. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes in the future.

For the price, I guess it was not bad. The service could have being a littler more helpful offering selections of plates. Just beware with the spicy, even if you tell them not to make your plate spicy hot, it still is.

24 lunch specials (including duck) all under $9! Dinner menu is 8 pages long. This charming place is only 14 feet wide. It stays full of locals, mostly Asians, because it is deliciously authentic. They have reasonably priced beer and wine too.

Within a week ate here and Bangkok City. This place is very average in comparison - stodgy, unauthentic and their sticky rice was awful and the wine and beer warm....complained about warm beer and they just thought it funny...will not return.

The food was great. Many vegetarian options. The service was good. My husband always complains about portions being too small, but not here!

Pho Basil is a compact place with a large menu featuring Vietnamese & Thai dishes. We were a party of 4 & were able to be seated right away which was fortunate as there is no bar or waiting area and it was raining out. There are many selections on the menu and it took a while to decide what... More
