excellent bread and pastries, sandwiches, coffee...try a "sugar bun" for a unique treat - flaky yeast roll coated with sugar, made fresh on premises daily, and often sold out. Their fresh iced tea blends are wonderfully refreshing as well

Our hotel was only a few blocks away, so we had breakfast at the Flour Bakery for 3 mornings in a row. We sampled some of their baked goods, and they were all absolutely delicious.

If you are looking for a good coffee shop and bakery where all the locals hang, this is the place for you!! Ever since our trip to Europe we have been looking for a good brioche and we found one! The brioche au surca was good but the cinnamon cream brioche was fabulous!! I want more now! It is a... More

If you are watching your weight you probably don't want to go here. Well you could get the quinoa and spinach and tofu salad, it's actually really yummy, but that is about it. Go when you want to splurge, eat homemade oreos and sticky buns, that is the good stuff. Sandwiches are delish and big, Breakfast Sandwich is the bomb... More

We ordered the chicken sandwich and a vanilla berry muffin. The muffin was excellent in taste and texture. The sandwich was good but not great. The biggest issue we had with the flour bakery was the wait time for the sandwich. It was around 20 minutes before we got the sandwich.

Shared a toasted rye bread sandwich of chicken, cheese and roasted vegetables for breakfast. Took away a lovely quino salad for lunch with an almond meringue. All excellent. There are 4 of these bakeries in Boston. Well worth a visit as lots to choose from. Highly recommend

I read about this place in the Bostonian magazine "Best of" issue then saw the owner featured in a Harvard admission video. Tried to get to this location on foot but when we finally got there, they were closed unexpectedly due to a water main break in the area. I was determined to try their baked goods so we tried... Stopped in here for breakfast before my conference started for the day w/ my husband- breakfast was amazing! We got a sticky bun to share and devoured it! We did order other items as well that were just as good & the coffee we got were very good too! I bought a packet of yummy granola for snaking on while... More

The baked goods are to die for (try the granola bar, almond croissant, sticky bun, chocolate chip cookie, triple chocolate mousse cake, banana bread, sour cream coffee cake, fresh fruit tart, oreo, or donut). The sandwiches are big and well worth the price (my favorites are the mozzarella, portobello melt, and BLT!). They get very busy in the morning and... More

I went here a few years ago before I started reviewing for Trip Advisor. We went to see the Kennedy Library and put in Flour bakery in our GPS and we found we were so close. I love this place! First went here after the owner did a throw down with Bobby Flay for her cinnamon rolls. They have great... More
