Visited here again with friends and it is still one of the best steaks in Boston. The service and food is spectacular and every bite is delicious. Plus nothing can beat the subtle decor and just the cool feel of this place. I disagree this place is over priced, so don't believe the hype. Your on Beacon Hill for crying... More

Went to brunch at Mooo last Sunday and was extremely disappointed, Had to tell the server that we were not in a rush and wanted to relax and enjoy. Food was just okay, nothing to be excited about. Nice touch with the live entertainment, mellow and relaxing. Restaurant virtually empty. Maybe better at night, but brunch was absolutely underwhelming. We... More

Very pretty restaurant with some good food. A little expensive for the quality when compared with other high end steak houses. Service was good. Some of the sides were a little salty which was my main complaint aside from that this was a place I works visit again regardless. Great place to enjoy with friends or as a couple.

Very warm and comfortable restaurant-loved the decor. My family are huge steak eaters and they each ordered a different steak dish from steak au poivre, rib eye and filet, and they all liked their dishes well enough-they've had better, and they've had worse. The marrow butter was a different touch. I had salmon that was excellent, and a huge portion!... More

Who knew Mooo was not just a great steakhouse but also a fantastic breakfast/brunch place? The french toast is nothing short of amazing. It was stuffed with bananas and had a crunchy crust so it was gooey and crunchy. It is served with a caramelized banana atop and ginger maple syrup. We've had the Belgian waffles, pancakes, blueberry pancakes, omelets... More

my husband and i went for valentine's dinner and it did not disappoint. the beef wellington was absolutely delicious. our waiter paired it with a divine borolo. so good! our only negative? the apple tart was a little dry. nice ambiance and the decor was more refined and softer than the typical steakhouse (masculine, dark wood...). staff was friendly. overall,... the style of this restaurant is very very nice, warm and soft lights as in the hotel (XVBeacon same property). Food is really good and I had a wonderful dinner there. Wine list a bit overpriced but this is typical in the US. I will be back for sure!

Excellent prix fixe at lunch. Dinner is pricey, which would be OK if the calibre of the signature steaks were up there with other high-end steakhouses. But this is a vastly more classy place than the chain establishments and I'd still choose it over one of those for an overall dining experience. (Don't misunderstand me, the steak is great, but... The food was great, service was ok and the atmosphere is nice but it gets really loud. My wife and I were trying to have a conversation and it was really hard to hear each other over the noise of the restaurant. There was a large table making most of the noise but it has really bad acoustics. Overall a... More

My husband and I walked here from another hotel in the area and had breakfast on a Saturday morning. There were only 4 other tables of diners. It was quiet and relaxing. I had a belgian waffle and he had an asparagus omelet. Service was very attentive.
