Description: It is the philosophy of BarLola, where one can simultaneously drink, enjoy Spanish music, mingle, and eat ones way round a wonderful gastronomic spectrum. It is our goal to make sure that we only serve authentic dishes that are as close to the original presentation and taste as those you would find in different regions of Spain. We have a fantastic selection of wines, cavas, beers, and other signature cocktails to accompany your meal. We make every effort to ensure that the majority of our key ingredients are imported from Spain. Our kitchen team members come from Spain, descendants of Spain or of Latin ancestry to ensure authenticity and standards. ***NOTE: Every Sunday evening we have live Flamenco shows Sunday Night at 8pm. Please note that there is a $20 minimum per person (toward food and drink) for the show. It will be assumed that all reservations made 7pm and 8pm are for the show. If you will not be joining us for the show, please let us know*

We found Bar Lola after a place down the street was too busy to seat us. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. The atmosphere was nice and our service was great. The drinks and food came out in a timely manner. My boyfriend and I split 4 dishes and liked each one... More

Went there on a Friday night with a group of friends. Sangria was very tasty but waitress never came back so that we could order more. Food was good but not amazing. Had to nab the waitress to get more bread and then she only came back at the end to see if we wanted the check - we actually... More

We tried just about every menu item as a group of 20+. The food was not best I have had, however I thought it was really good. Did not enjoy seeing the mouse traps, but as the night continued it turned into a social scene.

The patio during the summer is a must. Always enjoy a glass of red sangria, garlicky shrimp, dates wrapped in bacon and duck valencia. The patio in the sumer is a must although inside during the winter is cozy and warm. p.s. Of course in the tradition of enjoying tapas - take your time to order your next dish so... More

I lived in Spain for 3 years and can tell you the food at BarLola is NOT at all authentic. The tortilla espanola had barely any potatoes or onions in it, and was flavorless. The sangria was not right either! Plus the place is soooo expensive. $7.50 for a bit of bad imitation sangria and $6 for what was basically... More

There were a nice variety of tapas options and even a small paella (and I mean small) which was perfect for two if you were going to eat other tapas - which we were. Typically the paella is huge and takes a while to prepare so you are full before it arrives and it is way to much for a... More

Excellent tapas restaurant. Ambiance & Service:Five Spoons. Food was great. We shared five dishes and were amazed at the generous portions. Had the red peppers, grilled shrimp, mushrooms, sausages and a small paella tapa that was more then enough for two people. All dishes were superb and as good as anything we have eaten two trips to Spain. We will... More

We had a great variety of items to share, but the raviolis were the best! The sauce was so special. I resisted licking the plate though.

My favorite tapas in all of Boston! The food is phenomenal and the servers are wonderful. In the summer the outdoor patio is beautiful. Truly a great location and great food!

I had tapas and drinks here with a friend and we both enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the waitstaff frequently came by to refill our water glasses, clear plates, and check on us. We sat outside on a warm evening and took advantage of the beautiful Back Bay location. All in all, we were very happy and... More
