A "Cheers" Style bar in Boston

When you think "bar in Boston" what comes to mind? If you grew up when I did the answer is "Cheers" (NORM!!) You know, the place everyone knows your name. What you live in Brighton (on Kelton and Comm) your "Cheers" bar is Harry's. The bartenders will get to know you, your story, share about... read more

Given a small food and drink menu to choose from didn't detract from our experience. We had the chicken fingers, pulled pork, dally pizza special, and a roasted pepper flatbread with a few beers, mojitos, and cider. They establishment played the blues the whole evening much to our delight! No one was disappointed. It is a place that our family... More

I'm a local. We go to Harry's a lot. Good food, reasonable prices, good TV-age for games, the T stops right across the street. The only thing is that I'm totally confused by the photo. That's NOT the Harry's Bar at 1430 Comm Ave or as the address here states (Kelton and Comm).

We were recommended to Harry's because we arrived late to our hotel and needed a place to eat at 11pm. So glad we chose here. We got 4 sliders, fries and hummus dip (which is amazing by the way) for under $20! No other place in Boston was this cheap! We went back another night because we enjoyed it so... More

This is a small, laid back place that's ideal for a simple bite to eat. Parking is always a challenge here, and there aren't a ton of tables. But the people are nice, there's always a game on, and the food, while not spectacular, is still a good value and never disappoints. They used to have excellent curly fries, but... More

We head to Harry's every Monday for trivia night and burgers. The trivia is a blast, there are plenty of TVs showing games, including a big projector screen showing whatever the most important sporting event of the night is. The food is good, if not gourmet. The service is polite and fast. My favorite local.
