Better Than the Neighboring Chain Burger Joints

Very quick food offering a solid selection of hot and cold wraps and burgers with many types of patties (chicken, beef, and some non-meat selections). Drinks by the bottle or can.

I attend the church next door, so this is a frequent stop on Sundays. Whether I just want a quick bagel to go or decide to stay and grab a full breakfast, the food is always tasty, freshly cooked and I love that they serve Halal meats.mi can rarely get turkey bacon at localcafe joints. The chicken kebab with rice... More

This is a scrubby little place. I have no idea how others have given it such high reviews. The condition of the kitchen gave me pause, but I went for the very specific reason that I was hungry for falafel. The falafel itself was ok, but instead of being served in Mideastern flat bread was served in some grotesque orange... More

We were walking around looking for someplace for a healthy, affordable, and wholesome breakfast. We came across the Black Sea Café and Grill. We were pleasantly surprised. Lots of choices, healthy varieties, and reasonably priced. We each got an omelette and it came with fruit and potatoes and bread. Right off the Boston Common Gardens. Highly recommended and I will... Stopping during the mid-afternoon, I found a fresh mozzarella salad. It was freshly packed full of salad greens, green pepper ring, marinated tomatoes with herbs, and two thinly sliced fresh mozzarella. The greens were lightly moistened with the oil and herb marinade. This was delicious and a quality salad. Definitely worth the stop in to experience.

Small, quaint, great food!! I got the Falafel Plate and it was EXCELLENT! I asked to substitute the Greek salad with Babagonash and they were happy to accommodate. The tabouli, falafels, and Babagonash was the best I've ever had. Family owned, very friendly. Great value and location - across the street from Boston Common.

My daughter and I were staying at the Omni Parker House and came here for breakfast. It's a small hole-in-the-wall type place. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. I had a spinach, tomato & feta omelet, which came with homefries, toast and fruit, and my daughter had pancakes, eggs & bacon. We both... More

The 6 of us were looking for a cooked breakfast after a night at the Omni Parker. One friend found The Black Seed on TripAdvisor, and we had a very good, inexpensive breakfast there. The seating isn't fancy, but the food and latte I had were great.

This little café was not what I expected when I came in from the cold. It is a deli sandwich place but also a Middle eastern kabob place. Everything freshly prepared. I chose a chicken salad panini with cranberries and walnuts in it and large chunks of real chicken. Delicious. They also serve a few breakfast items and coffees and... More

On our first day in Boston, we were looking for a place to have lunch that wasn't a fast food chain. We stumbled across this little place. We ordered the chicken kabob lunch. It came with kabob, white rice and a salad and pita bread. It was delicious and was one of our favorite lunch places while we were in... More
