The food was great- very fresh tasting. The environment was comfortable. The service was very slow, however. We has steamed veggie dumplings, veggie lo mein, and moo goo gai pan.

I was very disappointed in the Dim Sum offered at this restaurant. The food was not good, all of the items on the menu was not available (we overheard it was because the chef was not in yet). I had high hopes based on the other reviews, but...

This place is touted as having the best Dim Sum in Boston, which says more about Boston than the restaurant. Having had some of the best Dim Sum in the US in New York's Chinatown, Flushing, and San Francisco, Winsor is a disappointment. Nothing is bad, but nothing said "wow" either. The place is small and has no carts, which... More

This may be some of the best Boston has but having been accustomed to the great dim sum in San Gabriel Valley and San Francisco, which compare favorably with the best dim sum in Hong Kong, Winsor is wanting. I will start by saying that 12 people can eat at Winsor for what 2 can at Yank Sing in SF... More

I've been here either 2 or 3 times now... the dim sum here is very good. Both times we were here, we were seated quickly (but that was just luck.. both times we sat, only to have groups come in a few minutes behind us and have to wait.. there are about 8 tables in the restaurant). We received menus... More

My husband and I walked in at 9:05 and were greated(if you want to call it that) with a rude little Asian lady barking that the kitchen stopped cooking at 9:30. When she seated us and tossed a pot of green teat our way she took our order and did not answer questions... we had many. The little paper given... More

My wife and I picked 4 items from the dim sum menu and the bill including excellent green tea was under $30 including tax and tip. We loved the selection and enjoyed everything from pork buns to vegetables in oyster sauce. Worth the wait.

I had dined once here a few years ago and remember it being good. At the time, we were still frequenting another dim sum place that we have been going to for 10 years. The dim sum at that place has seriously gone down in quality, so we were in the market for another dim sum place. Although small (we... More

Boston has a decent Chinatown but the dim sum is generally underwhelming. The Winsor is definitely good dim sum, and probably the best dim sum in Boston currently. The décor is austere, you have to provide your name and wait in line, and you might end up sharing a table, but I would suggest it is worth it! I have... More

This was my favorite dimsum place until I found the other one along Beach St. This place does not have push carts instead you order by checking the paper they gave you. Chinese usually likes their dimsum warm or hot which makes things delicious. The dimsum here is not warm when served. This place is small and fully packed, has... More
