Delicious dumplings!

We loved the food here. The place is jam packed and its hard to get in. With a line out the door, you know it is good! We tried 4 different types of dumplings and loved them all. They were super busy so service is quick, but efficient. They were really nice to us and our child and again we... read more

Went on a suggestion of a local patron. Ate spicy eggplant , bamboo noodles was the best meal I've ever had!!! I'll go again and again when I will visit Boston!!

This is a very small restaurant. Tried the schezuan fish which was quite good! Also, order the salt and pepper shrimp and the chinese greens. I have had better fried rice and also, the juicy pork dumplings had a lot of sauce that came dripping out at first bite. I would return here.

Just stopped in for lunch for the first time. I've been by this restaurant many times, but today was the first time I got in ahead of the crowd (there was a line going out the door by the time I finished). Ordered the xiao long bao and vegetarian dumplings-- two standard dishes-- to get a sense of the overall... More

Incredible great meals/tastes there. Place is packed, small tables and shoulder to shoulder. But when there's a line out the door even at 3pm("off hours") it tells you something!! Diverse menu... kids loved discovering other edible choices! Plan on going.

The wait for a table is worth it (just keep telling yourself that while you wait an hour) My boyfriend and I heard about this place on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The place is a hole in wall. You will become best-friends with whomever you sit next to, because you will sit that close to the other person. The food... More

This place is great if you need a dumpling and shanghai style food fix. That said, the skin on the juicy dumplings is way too thick and the meat inside is quite greasy. However, the panfried dumplings are great and so are the tofu dishes. Service is absolutely horrendous, but it is what it is.

Gourmet Dumpling specializes in very good Chinese food, hearty portions and brisk service. It's loud, bustling and has an extensive menu including lots of unusual specialities such as stinky tofu, pig intestines and blood pudding. Only complaint is that the sauces seem very salty - I woke up next day feeling very dehydrated.

In town for a conference and made our way to Chinatown for dinner. Excellent food, but be prepared for packing in tight (a sign really of it's quality and value for money) and eating fast as they don't hold back on bringing things to the table as it's cooked

We were sent here by our hotel concierge... it had a 4 star rating, but don't expect this to be your normal American style Chinese food.... The Won Ton soup will taste and look like dishwater to most tastes.... I'm sure it's authentic to the Chinese, but beware.... the spring rolls were very greasy and they do not have any... More
