I'd rather go hungry

The food was over prices the appetizers were horrible tasted frozen and there were 7 of us. They charges us 56.00 for 2 drinks in souvenir glasses that had almost no alcohol the worst drink we ever ordered. First and last time~ The whole place needs a wiping down~ I went with a party of 16 on a Saturday afternoon~ I get the theme, being rude to customers and you get a paper hat with an insult written on it about yourself and insults throughout the meal, not my thing all the waitstaff seemed bored with it~ My... This restaurant's theme is that the waiters treat patrons with feigned disdain. However, they usually still provide service. In this instance, the restaurant was nearly empty yet the server brought us the wrong food order and failed to check in at all. We were never provided refills nor asked if we needed anything. The food itself was horrible. The hamburgers... More

We wanted to go into the city one summer's day, and strolling through Faneuil Hall Marketplace, decided to go here. We were seated promptly, and our waitress quickly dusted off the table. She was loud, informative and sarcastic...what you would NEVER expect at a restaurant. The menus contained sandwiches, seafood and various entrees, and they all looked good. What was... More

Do NOT research. It will spoil the fun. Just go and experience it. We had no idea what the theme was, but it didnt take long. We loved it! Especially fun if dining with older teenagers. I wont say much more because I dont want to spoil it. HAVE FUN!

We had the unfortunate experience born of necessity of going to Dick's Last Resort (we did not fully appreciated it's attempted theme till we were seated and by then it was too late!). This establishment was uncomfortable, noisy, and the food uninspiring, bland, tepid and in all truth woeful. As with the adult menu, the kids menu was limited and... More

We loved this place! The point of the place is to be rude and throw the menus at you and be "dicks". But they're really cool people and the food was good too! We had a few good laughs! They also made my daughter a hat that said I beat up boys on the playground and made sure she had... More

If you're looking for a place to eat at the Quincy Market, Dick's Last Resort is definitely worth a try. Not only are the waiters making fun of you, constantly rude and simply being arrogant it's all for the entertainment (they aren't actually rude to you on purpose, it's their theme). Once your waiter made fun of you enough, they... More

If you want a hat, be prepared to sit like a dunce with whatever the waiter chooses to write on it about you. I find this hilarious. While the waiters banter with you they take your order and while it is very busy you do get your food fairly quick. I was not a huge fan of the chicken sandwich... More

I'm laughing my butt off at the poor reviews. Apparently people didn't get the memo....this restaurant is all about rude service. We went last week and had a blast! The servers are pure Boston attitude....rude, crude and unacceptable! Love it!! The food isn't the best, but that's not why you go. The drinks are ok, and you get to keep... More
