My husband and I stopped here for a drink on our way back to our hotel after a visit to Fanueil Hall and Quincy market. He had a beer and I had an amazing Dirty Martini. The only complaint I have is no one has Michelob Light it seems.

Went to catch an Arsenal football match. Great time. It was pretty crowded but the service was very good. Early match so I went with the full Irish Breakfast and a vodka and orange juice. Hey it was 5:00 o'clock somewhere.

Very cool Irish Pub with a huge bar in the middle. Beautiful woodwork, and tons of TV's showing any games that are on. Food was pretty good for a small bite.

Went to Lir for some beer and apps to watch the Pats game. The nachos were small and the salsa weak. Also the calamari we ordered was maybe the worst ever - it tasted fishy and the rings were tiny with spinach randomly tossed on top. Service was fine.

My wife and I decided to stop in to Lir on our walk back to our condo. My wife being pregnant didn't want to stop at a bar and watch me drink a beer. The bartenders all congratulated us, on her being pregnant and made her a great "mocktail". Because they were so engaging and nice I was able to... More

This bar is home to the Boston Gooners (Arsenal fans) so I popped in to watch them play Everton. Great atmosphere during the game Everton fans out numbered 30-2 so we joined the underdogs. They also opened early on the Sunday so we could watch our team play Man Utd. Also a good place to buy food. We could not... More

Having just arrived in Boston on a transatlantic flight, we headed out for dinner and ended up in Lir. We were prompted found a table and served drinks. Food was served quickly and was piping hot and delicious. The pizza is amazing! Waitress service was attentive and polite, there's plenty of screens for sports fans, beer is good. Definitely worth... We were in Boston for the day (I had a lecture to go to and my hubby was hunting for a barstool). After I linked up with my husband we walked a few streets and decided on Lir. As soon as we stepped through the door we heard "sit wherever you want" and I was a little put off by... More

Was ignored at the bar for 30 minutes while bartenders were too busy chatting to each other and eating chocolate while the restaurant had about 12 patrons total during lunch. Never received a refill on my glass of water nor ketchup for my fries. Management doesn't seem to care that customers trying to order items are ignored and that potential... More
