Awesome fresh made dumplings, great cumin lamb appetizers. The spicy chicken soup is to die for you can pick what type of noodles you want in any of the soup and substitute noodles for any of the rice dishes. Great cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, superb food. What more could you ask for?

Although small indoors, seating is limited, we were able to have a table for two. The service is excellent with very friendly and helpful servers. The menu is varied and unique. The meal was one of the best Asian we have had in our travels. This is obviously a popular place for locals. There is outdoor seating when the weather... More

We were actually intending to go to Salsa, but it closed at 9! So we wandered around the corner and found this gem. They were incredibly welcoming, had awesome recommendations, great food, and even told us places to go out that night. Is it super fancy? No. Should it be? No. Go here for great, nicely priced food in a... More

We waited FOREVER in the little hallway that separates the entrance from the dining room area, blocked off with drapes. It is a very little shop that is authentic in feel yet very much accessible and comfortable. The food was wonderful! Noodles were great, too. The spicy stuff is spicy so believe them if they said so. The best thing... More

This place is for those who want to know what real Chinese food is like, instead of General Tso's Americanized. The owners are from Taiwan, and the dishes are very similar to what you would get in China. It's tiny, maybe 8 tables indoors and another 6 outside. Service is average for Asheville, but in a twist, servers are Caucasian... More

This is just a good quality asian noodle shop in downtown Asheville. It is not fancy or pricey. You should go.

Every time I have been to the Noodle Shop I have had good service and excellent food. I always get a noodle bowl so not sure about their other offerings. Coming in and having a hot noodle bowl on a cold winter day can't be beat!

Pleasant atmosphere -sat on the patio. I had the Homestyle tofu and requested light spice. It was perfect!

Doc Chey's had an hour wait so we came here. We should have waited in the line at Doc Chey's. Sure, we got a table immediately but no one enjoyed their food that much. Tasteless or too salty and very crowded inside and a bit grubby.

Good food, prices are reasonable but can add up quickly when ordering an appetizer & main meal. One of the to go places that overlook an intersection right in the middle of downtown, many street performers & passers-by directly in front of eating area. If the owners are reading this review the only negative I would give them is the... More
