Best sushi

I am a sushi lover and we've tried wasabi, wild wok, and Heiwa, hana japanese restaurants so far. And I came to conclude Green Tea is the best. Their sushi is so fresh and I love their Udons. Been there recently and they remodeled, still have outside patio. Anyways the food is great.

Everything they make is delicious, teriyaki, hibachi, etc, but the sushi is outstanding!! Very friendly staff & owner.

We eat here as often as we can when in Asheville. Consistently great sushi and excellent service. Location has easy parking (free) unlike most in Asheville and isn't very far from downtown. Visit and enjoy!!

A great surprise! So many sushi places, and so many bad ones. This is not one of those. Green Tea Sushi was warm, friendly, and DELICIOUS. Loved the choices - sushi and otherwise. If you enjoy sushi, come here.

Green Tea sushi has an excellent sushi selection and a beautiful peaceful patio to enjoy it on. The staff was friendly and the restaurant looked cozy inside. I brought my dog, and the waitress was kind enough to bring water and treats. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would go back again.

I have to say that our waiter was very accommodating. He did change the music to something more normal for a Japanese restaurant. And he did lower the volume which was blasting when I entered the restaurant. Took our order without any problems. But, this is where the good points went bad. He forgot to bring us fried rice which... More

I went to this restaurant with four other people and arrived at about 7pm on Saturday night. Understandably, it was quite crowded and it took a bit before we get a table, but it moved surprisingly quick for how packed the place was. The waiting area is a tiny little section just inside the doorway, with an illuminated bubble wall... More

I don't live in Asheville so I shouldn't compare sushi here to sushi in NYC. There was nothing wrong with the sushi here - they were fresh and creative, but I guess it was just an ordinary Japanese place. The staff was really courteous and friendly though, and the restaurant itself seemed nicely decorated and clean.

My first visit here was a good ten years ago, I've visited off and on since then, and, sadly, Green Tea is not what it used to be. Went went for Christmas lunch (not much else was open) and had 4 different rolls (2 regular and 2 "special") and two different salads, plus tea. The salads were pretty good (green... More

Great service and surprising variety. Even with full restaurant they were quick with the food and it was all perfect. Quaint yet cozy atmosphere.
