Very good Latin food

This is not a Mexican restaurant, it offers food from South America which was a nice change for us. We had dinner on the patio and had some excellent dishes. They included our drinks, red sangrias, a pork tostada and masita de Lechon (a layered dish of roasted pork shoulder, pickled vegetables... read more

I went last sunday and I really like this place! It's quite small, the tables are too close each other but the food was great, I enjoy my patacon!

The food was good in some plates and average in others. My meat was over cooked and dry. The pork was really good as well as he deserts.

Nice atmosphere in this cool little establishment...the wait staff was prompt and friendly. Very satisfied with the meal, but the Mojitos were a bit weak and weird. It seems to have been run through a blender, which turned the mint into mulch...not ideal for sipping, although it probably increased the fiber content. I would try this place again..their latin style... More

Nice restaurant. Very nice Spanish and Caribbean dishes. The dishes are more new cuisine and not really authentic, or at least not what I am used to eating. The food was vey tasty and I would go back

Chorizo isn't a large establishment, but it makes good use of the small space. There is a quaint ambiance that fills the air, and provides a perfect venue for couples or a small group of friends to enjoy an unusually delicious meal. The menu changes often, which provides the perfect diversity that several restaurants lack. This is due to the... More

Tried Chorizo on the Asheville Food Tour with Paddy and had to go back. Best Latin fare I have ever had. All the produce and meat come from the owners farm and it is so fresh you can see it being constantly carted in all day! I suggest sitting on the patio for the full experience and great people watching.... More

Found this by accident and glad I did. Excellent food. Service was very friendly. Of course, I had to have chorizo on my meal and theirs is excellent. I will try again and would recommend to anyone wanting a good meal.
