I travel to Asheville 2-3 times a month and this place is always on my lunch list! Fantastic, fresh food. Friendly wait staff, and they always get you in and out right at an hour.

We were so impressed by the quality of the food at Chorizo! We decided to do it tapas style and order 4 appetizers. Little did we know, the portions are huge! We ordered: The calamari, which was hands down the best calamari I've ever had anywhere The 5-layer bean dip, which was bursting with flavor! The nachos, which had the... More

We couldn't decide where to eat around Downtown Asheville- so many choices and had decided to try the Thai restaurant -but thanks to my daughter's look - you know the barely disguised eye-roll) we turned the corner and as we approached Chorizo and I smelled the delicious aromas I turned to the family and said we're eating here! This restaurant is part of the group that includes Salsa and Bomba...not to be missed! Sangria $5 on Wednesdays, inspired desserts, and a main menu that will blow you away!

Sooooo we planned to have breakfast at one of the "popular" breakfast spots in Asheville. Of course on a Saturday morning there was a 45 minute wait so we put our name on the list. We ended up walking around and ended up in front of Chorizo. We looked at the menu and decided to try it out for our... More

Downtown Asheville can be very crowded on Saturday and we have "discovered" this delicious restaurant on more than one occasion. I had the authentic Cuban sandwich while my husband had a amazing bowl layered with beans, rice and a coffee rubbed pork that is slow roasted and amazing. If you are not very hungry you could easily split any entree... More
