Popular Grove Arcade location yet intimate feeling

My wife and I dined here for the second time in four years. If anything, it was better than I remembered it. We had the Mexico City Shrimp and Cordoba Paella (me). The spices on both were fantastic. We had a corner table, which felt nice and private, but we could still look outside and see... read more

The food at breakfast is consistently good and the menu unique, but don't come here if you are hungry or if you are not prepared to wait. The hostess seats us, but tells us she will not give us a breakfast menu until (precisely) 10. Then, the waiter, who was friendly and prompt with coffee, tells us that the breakfast... More

Service was lackluster, but came on at the end of the meal. My Cuban sandwich on the other hand was a sloppy, soggy mess. Table side guac is fantastic though.

I love this restaurant! Everytime I eat there it is fabulous and so, so fresh. The owner grows many of the ingredients on his farm. The coffee pork amazing. Guacamole superb. Fried plantains a favorite. When they have them, I always get the smashed sweet potatoes. Small, quaint ambiance. This is where I treat myself when I want a special... More

I am an Ecuadorian with a deep love for authentic Latin food. I first visited Chorizo shortly after moving to Asheville because I was drawn by the cute display and Latin food, once I noticed their menu had pupusas I knew I had to try it out. I have eaten dozens of "authentic" pupusas through the years - these are... More

Every time we come to Chorizo's it is a wonderful experience. Four of us went and ordered different things and all we could talk about was how wonderful the food tasted. The ingredients are very fresh and very authentic from the guacamole to the fried plantains to the paellas. The portions were large but not ridiculous. The cocktails are excellent... More

If you are looking for a unique take on some traditional Latin favorites this is a great place to go. They have a wonderful standard menu as well as an extensive daily menu. My friend and I had two different kinds of paella. Both were exceptional. The place is very small and a little cramped but it's worth it.

Chorizo is fabulous! The food is wonderful in taste and presentation. The portions are large ... great for sharing. The avocado quacamole is fresh, made right at your table and perhaps the best I've ever tasted. Great sangria. Great staff... friendly and helpful. Love this place!! Will definitely return.
