Food was good - my chicken was excellent but the alfredo on which it was placed was quite average. Pasta portions embarrassingly large. Hated to have to leave so much behind. Salad average. Service outstanding. Atmosphere average to good.

Fed a family of 5 with full breakfast entrees for under $40. Had the eggs benedict myself. Waffles were excellent. Good service, great local diner

Came from Missouri to Asheville. Great place to eat while in Asheville. Tried the Gyro, lamb platter, delicious and reasonably priced. The service was outstanding. Would recommend.

This is Greek/American with typical fare for that type of restaurant. Somewhat atypical is the fact that every thing we have eaten there was excellent. Occasionally they have fried oysters, one of our favorites and we always get them when on the menu. However, overall, everything is good. A little hard to get to due to the traffic surrounding the... The first night we went to the Cornerstone, it was really good ! We were amazed at the great prices, and they accommodated my food allergies so well! So we decided to go back with friends, and the mistakes made could have landed me in the hospital. It was disappointing to say the least!

We were recommended to this restaurant by the front desk of our nearby hotel on Tunnel. The building is a former Shoney's and not much different decor. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I don't know that I have ever seen a salad so fresh. It looked as if they were growing them right out back. The servings were... More

The food is excellent, specials everyday! Greek items too. The restaurant is friendly, spacious, and staff friendly. These owners have been in the restaurant business for years, generation to generation and their food says so!

Was sadly unimpressed after having heard so many positive reviews. We got there well before closing and from the word go it was one of the least impressive meals I've had in 20 years. The food was sub-par, fried items were overdone completely, the waitress seemed disinterested in assisting and I had to constantly remind her of what we asked... More

We discovered Cornerstone because it was one of the highest-rated restaurants on TripAdvisor near our hotel on Tunnel Road. The menu is mostly American with some Greek accents. The building is a former Shoney's and the decor is just a step or two above Shoney's. It's not fancy, but family friendly. My husband had the half-rack of ribs and it... More
