Close to Our Hotel

We just happened to see the Cornerstone on the way back to our hotel. There were several cars in the parking lot, so we figured that was a good sign. The menu has a good variety and the chef is willing to make adjustment for those with medical issues. My husband had the lasagna and really... read more

We like to visit local family owned restaurants whenever possible so as the Cornerstone is located within a few minutes of our daughter's home, we decided to give them a try. While we weren't disappointed, we weren't thrilled either. Our server, while pleasant, could definitely use a little more training. She had to be reminded of a couple of things,... More

We asked a local where they eat and they recommended this place. What a treasure. BBQ ribs bone sucking good. Lamb Osso Buco very tender falling off the bone also. Great prices, great food. Our waitress was Kelsey and she was very attentive and informative. Next time we are there will definitely stop again, tell all your friends!

Great family restaurant. Packed at 6pm on Saturday. Menu had lots of choices. Short wait for table. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. I'd go back!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place after an exhausting day at the Biltmore Estate (I talked him into it). The waitress was a bit rude in the beginning of our visit while we were ordering our drinks but later ended up being very attentive and polite. My boyfriend (late 20s) looked around and decided it was a... More

I am also a local Asheville resident and have nothing but good things to say about this establishment! I eat here often and also use them for catering on a regular basis. I am sorry that the person had a negative experience here, sounds like it was a miscommunication between the staff and the patron. Menu is great, has something... More

As an Asheville local I have eaten at just about every breakfast place in Asheville, however, I have never been charged $17.00 for an Egg White Omelet and a cup of coffee!! I ordered an Egg White Omelet, build your own for 8.99 which included a choice of 3 ingredients. I also added an additional t ingredient for 79 cents.... More

Ate dinner here based on hotel staff recommendation. The building looks like it may have been a Shoneys at one time. The menu is large and has many good sounding offerings. Our meals were tasty. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

Excellent find. We ate dinner and breakfast; both were excellent, food plentiful and prices more than fair. Very popular place that has been around a long while. Easy parking. Be hungry, portions are large.

My husband and I came to Asheville for a little getaway before our first baby arrives. We were going to eat at outback but the wait was over an hour...so was every where else. We found this place by accident. Let me tell you....this place is great. We were seated right away and had a very nice waitress. The food... More
