Good food, service, and price

In a city that has many specialized and fancy restaurants, it is refreshing to dine at one that simply provides good food and service at a fair price. There is nothing trendy or pretentious at the Cornerstone. Nor is there an issue finding parking. I ordered a lamb gyro platter that arrived... read more

Great place for home style cooking. Great chicken noodle soup on a cold, rainy day. Met a friend there for lunch and we were able to sit for hours and talk without anyone disturbing us. It was quiet ( which is rare anymore). Always like to select this place over the many chain restaurants.

Wasn't expecting the quality of the top Asheville Breakfast eateries, but was quite disappointed with the very average diner experience. Waitress suggested the home fries which she described as really great. They were not so great! Below average at best. It remedy you of Denny's only locally owned I believe. A huge portion of disappointing food.

Just drove in to town, checked in at the Hampton and wanted something easy. Manager suggested this restaurant and it was a good recommendation . Service was very good and the food was very good. Sweet potato was great! Our server was attentive and pleasant . Everything we had was very good. Nice surprise for us!

We were in search of a place to eat breakfast and one f the locals recommended Cornerstone. Am I glad he did! The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Much better than overpriced specialty restaurants.

This place is great. The waitresses are super friendly. The servings are huge. My wife and I ate there 3 times during our vacation. At the urging of our waitress, twice we split a meal between us and we still walked away full. That also makes it a cheap place to eat. You won't be disappointed.

We like to visit local family owned restaurants whenever possible so as the Cornerstone is located within a few minutes of our daughter's home, we decided to give them a try. While we weren't disappointed, we weren't thrilled either. Our server, while pleasant, could definitely use a little more training. She had to be reminded of a couple of things,... More

We just happened to see the Cornerstone on the way back to our hotel. There were several cars in the parking lot, so we figured that was a good sign. The menu has a good variety and the chef is willing to make adjustment for those with medical issues. My husband had the lasagna and really enjoyed it. I had... More

We asked a local where they eat and they recommended this place. What a treasure. BBQ ribs bone sucking good. Lamb Osso Buco very tender falling off the bone also. Great prices, great food. Our waitress was Kelsey and she was very attentive and informative. Next time we are there will definitely stop again, tell all your friends!

Great family restaurant. Packed at 6pm on Saturday. Menu had lots of choices. Short wait for table. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. I'd go back!
