This is the second time I have eaten here. Both times have been really good: great prices and the staff is friendly. Also it is kept very clean.
Delicious breakfast and great service. Would definitely go here again. I agree with a previous review concerning the parking - plentiful parking in a lot. The atmosphere is casual and you can enjoy the company of others at your table without feeling rushed to eat and leave.
Great attentive waitress, good food but a little pricey TO US but we are not big spenders. Very relaxing atmosphere & did not feel rushed.
Cornerstone in a great value! Very generous, delicious, diverse menu. Excellent service. Best spagetti you've ever eaten! Steaks, shrimp, fish, club sandwiches, chopped steak, huge tossed salads & greek salads w/homemade dressings & speciality dishes ALL excellent. You've got to go see for yourself & see what I'm saying. I've lived in Asheville, NC 45 yrs. & you'll not find better!
This is definitely the place I would recommend for breakfast in Asheville. The location is convenient, parking was plentiful and the service was excellent. And did I mention the food was great? And reasonably priced? And too much to finish? Husband and I both got the Ultimate Breakfast. Two wedges of French toast, four silver dollar pancakes, two eggs, three... More
Cornerstone is undoubtedly my favorite place for breakfast in Asheville (given that I can't afford the Grove Park Inn's prices). The food is freshly prepared, served hot and the service is attentive and friendly. Add to that a very handy location about half a mile from downtown (easy parking!), near I-240 Chunns Cove exit and it's clear why it is... More
We don't like fast food restaurants so we are always looking for something different. We found Cornerstone Restaurant in Asheville. I ordered a chipotle hamburger with sweet potato fries and was only able to eat half of the hamburger. It was delicious. My husband ordered chicken fried steak which came with two sides. He got a very nice sized salad... More
Nice prepared fresh food with enormous portions. The blackened chicken breast salad was prepared diligently without any shortcuts and tasted great ,too. The triple decker club sandwich was fantastic and size made it difficult to finish. Cheesecake for desert was an added bonus. all in all, excellent food for such a fairly limited menu. However, everything was prepared to our... More
My husband had the trout and he said it was on the dry side. I had the broiled scallops which were very good but they came with cocktail sauce rather than melted butter which is what I prefer. Baked potato and baked sweet potato were both large and fluffy. Salads were good. Friendly wait staff - casual atmosphere.
convenient location off tunnel. Good food, enjoyed the ribs. Staff was very attentive. The flooring looking bit tired, but a good choice and reasonable.
