I have only eaten breakfast at Cornerstone, but it has always been good food, prompt and friendly service and a good value.

I love these kind of low key in out diner style meat and three kind of places. The food here is a very mixed bag, The good the bad and ugly happen here daily. The best fried zucchini I have ever had! Real turkey with a stuffing that is ok. A great cranberry too! The baked chicken delis as well... More

I lived in Asheville all my life until about 4 years ago. Cornerstone was always know as a good place to eat by the locals. We visit several times a year and the quality seems to have steadily declined. We ate there recently and that will be the last time. Salad was great. Seafood and chicken was greatly overcooked and... This restaurant happened to be within walking distance of our hotel so we decided to try it out the day we arrived in Asheville. It was such a great experience, and the menu had so many good things on it, that we decided we could have easily eaten there every day. Sometimes in these situations I think, well, whatever, I'm... My friend and I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites on Tunnel Road during our visit. Sadly, Tunnel Road seems to be the place where all of the chain restaurants are located. We asked the woman at the front desk where she'd recommend for dinner; we were starving after the Coke-and-peanuts diet on our flights, and wanted some real... More

I've given them a pass before because the parking lot has no van accessible spot so when its busy I can't get in -that's the bad part. It is accessible otherwise so I went at 10 am on a Wednesday, parked across several spaces and got a great breakfast with excellent service at a good price. I hope they follow... More

Very hard to choose where to eat- but we stopped here for breakfast one morning and it is now a staple to all trips! Love the breakfast bowls! Do not go here if you are watching what you eat :-)

We have found that asking hotel employees where they like to eat reveals some great local fare. Cornerstone lived up to the employee's glowing praise. We both tried the Herb Crusted Chicken with grilled vegetables and baked potato. It was possibly the best chicken dish I have ever tasted. Portions were generous. Service was excellent. Make Cornerstone a MUST try... More
