I recently ate dinner with a small group celebrating a friend's birthday. The server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. We all feasted on lobster nachos (very gourmet, and not your 'ordinary' nachos) and brussels sprouts for appetizers. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambience is pleasant, although not exceptional. However, given the... More

Being a California resident, I can say I don't think this is CA-Mex food. It is much more sophisticated and above average. Very interesting menu with lots of twists. The service was excellent and helpful in ordering. Pleasant atmosphere and good food made for a very pleasant evening.

We were looking for a late dinner spot and found Limones while searching on Google. I am so glad we did. Our waiter was very nice and explained the menu choices. The restaurant finds local sources for ingredients and changes the menu weekly. I had Seared Scallops and the Brussel sprouts. So yummy! My husband had rib-eye tacos with a... More

This Cal/Mex based restaurant had interesting breakfast combinations with flavor and a bit of heat without overwhelming the palate. The Chile Rellenos were stuffed with four different cheeses and then grilled rather than dipped in a batter and fried. Not what I expected but grilling the poblano chili gave it a smoky flavor that echoed the mountains. Coffee was just... More

We loved the meal we had here. Although it was a little slow at times (15 minutes to make a margarita) the food was of excellent quality and the drinks were also great. If I was in Asheville again I would definitely want to eat at Limones again.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing! We started our meal off with mango margaritas, then had ginger mint margaritas both of which were delicious. We had the cervice sampler as an appetizer which was delicious. We had steak tacos and shrimp plates for entrees which were some of the best I have ever had. Our waiter Joquin... More

We ate here on our first night in Asheville. We had a great table by the window, and our server was fantastic. We both ordered one of their special drinks, and they were delicious. The ceviche sampler and the Brussels sprouts appetizer were amazing. My husband doesn't like Brussels sprouts, but he tried them and loved them (ok, they are... More
