Our first trip to Limones won't be our last. We visit Asheville 4 to 5 times a year. This time, a friend had recommended Limones. Mexican and California cuisine, we started with the ceviche sampler (tuna, cod and oysters) and Brussel sprouts. Wine and margarita choices were impressive. Entrées of wild mushroom and organic spinach enchiladas and the salmon were... More

Yummy! Passing through Asheville & decided to grab a bite to eat. Limones came up as a top Mexican destination. Since we didn't have a reservation, we sat at the bar for dinner so I would recommend making one if you have to have a table to sit at. The bartender was friendly and attentive and more than happy to... More

Please don count this as a rating as we could not get in to eat. We received two recommendations for this restaurant so we decided to give it a try on a Thursday night. It is very small and we just could not get a table for 5. Looking a the menu, the prices did seem a little on the... More

The mussels were exceptional, and a generous portion. The dining experience was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommended

The margaritas alone are worth a visit. Soooo delicious!!! I wish the bar were larger, as I would visit more often for a drink. My favorite meals here have been when we ordered a variety of the smaller/appetizer dishes. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the churros and hot chocolate for desert. The restaurant is not very large, so... More

Start with the ceviche, lobster nachos and a pomegranate margarita. Whatever you get for a main will be stunning- the quality here is indisputable! Make sure you make some room for dessert (and bring tissues, because you might cry it's so good). The Mexican Coffee is a whole dessert in itself, but the Tres Leches and the Churros...sigh. Transcendent. :)... More

My girlfriend and I made plans to eat here our first night in Asheville due to trip advisor. We ate a small lunch and planned our night around eating at Limones. The restaurant is small and we didn't have reservations but luckily we were able to get seated at the bar. The bartender who waited on us wasn't very friendly... More

Cozy and quiet place for dinner- reservations are usually necessary! Don't miss their lobster nachos, grilled chili rellano and blue cornmeal crab cakes!

Simply put, one of the best meals that I have ever had. I asked our waitress to please go back and compliment the chef. Our waitress was extremely personable and attentive. While talking with her, we told her it was our anniversary and she brought back a dessert with a candle for us to blow out. Our food was incredible.... More
