Husband surprises me for my birthday at Table

My husband and I were visiting Asheville for my birthday and we had a fabulous dinner at Table. The chef is very creative and sources local ingredients with the menu changing regularly. They have a very nice wine list and both our meals were excellently prepared. Our waiter was knowledgeable and... read more

Menu was imaginative and the execution was just as good. The preparation was excellent as so was the presentation. Great value for the quality of food and culinary skill. Definitely a recommendation.

We enjoyed our dinner at Table and the emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and daily changes of the menu. Very creative dishes, and well prepared. Only caveat -- very limited choices for lactose free or dairy allergy diners. Many dishes are prepped with dairy (butter or cheese) and cannot be altered. One of our party managed to get by by... The service is really exceptional and the food is quite good. Stick to local fare like trout and you can't go wrong.

Friday night with my wife, our son and his daughter who live in Asheville and recommended Table. We were a little late for our 6:30 reservation (Asheville is a busy place on a Friday night) but it was no problem. We were seated in a relatively small, packed dining room but the noise level was no an issue; we could... More

We enjoyed Table's ambience and innovative menu. The wait staff is well trained and knows a ton about the menu and the key ingredients for all the dishes. Table's location makes it convenient to any of Asheville's downtown bars and hotels. Highly recommend giving Table a shot and enjoying a great meal then walking it off afterwards with a stroll... Had dinner this evening with another couple at Table. Service was terrible. Waited 2 hours for our main course. Wait staff embarrassed but management totally uninterested and wanted to argue that a 2 hour wait was acceptable even though people at tables around was were seated later and served before us. Would never go back unless manager was changed. Food... More

I had read mixed reviews on Table and was somewhat reluctant to try it. But, I am SO happy we did. The food was fantastic. The service could not have been better. The noise level was wonderfully low. Definitely start with the artisanal cheese and house charcuterie board; it's almost a meal in itself--and wonderful for sharing. Another standout was... More

My husband and I ate at Table Asheville for brunch on a Sunday morning. We had made reservations and they honored our request for a table by the window. Our server was wonderful and made good suggestions for beverages and food. I ordered the pork tacos, and I'm not giving this restaurant 5 stars because the pork in my tacos... More

We recently ate here with a fairly large group of people, and had a very enjoyable evening. Because of the size of our group, our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived, so we went upstairs to the bar to wait and have a drink. The bar has a different name, but has some great cocktails, and a decent beer... More
