Stopped in for dinner and no expectations and ended up with a fabulous server.... Maggie. Maggie was the best and made us feel right at home and welcome. We r locals that eat out ALOT and have NEVER come across a server like Maggie. Hope she is there for the next visit.

And ask for Maggie as your server! The lobster is always good but the Alaskan king crab is THE BEST!

We had not tried this restaurant, why I don't know. We had a great meal. We had the lobster roll and the lobster mac and cheese. I would go back for the mac and cheese alone. They have all kinds of seafood, clams, mussells, oysters and lobster. You really can't go wrong here unless you don't like seafood. It is... More

Atmosphere and staff were absolutely wonderful! The food was fabulous and as good if not better than any upscale beachside seafood restaurant. Date and I had king crab legs which are served with corn and potatoes all of which was delicious and cooked perfectly.

My husband, our son and his girlfriend and I had a fabulous meal here. We asked the folks at the front desk of our hotel for a recommendation for a restaurant that had good seafood, they did not hesitate - just sent us to the Lobster Trap. We had shrimp and grits, trout, crab cakes, and a lobster roll. Let... More

As my boyfriend puts it - we ordered pretty basic food which would be hard to mess up. Even so, the food was good. Getting right to it: I ordered the Alaskan King Crab with corn on the cob and 2 boiled potatoes for $32 My boyfriend ordered the Maine Lobster also with corn on the cob and boiled potatoes... More

The lobster trap has parking across the street, and was a mile from our bed and breakfast. We were seated immediately, it was about 8:00 pm, it was still full of diners. The staff was very friendly, and we were seated in a booth, which was a little noisy, since the kitchen is right across. Asked to be seated up... More

We went there last night and wanted a great lobster. I didn't want to dig it out of the shell, so I ordered Lobster Newberg. So a whole lobster with a nice sauce on a puff pastry, wow! My husband the lobster roll and it was also amazing. And we both had the watermelon gazpacho, both refreshing and delicious. I... More

We loved the lobster trap. One of the best seafood meals we have had, so fresh! The trout cheese dip was awesome. We split to double stack of crab legs to a order of crab legs and whole lobster. It was awesome and plentiful. Side items were potatoes and corn on cob. Dessert menu was little limited and not very... More
