MAYBE THE BEST FOOD IN ASHVILLE.... WE THINK SO!

Each year we come back to Ashville we try as many new restaurants as possible... but the one place we always go back to to try a different entrée is Bouchon on Lexington. Always a treat. Last year we had the rabbit. .. this time I had the local trout. . Fantastic. Started out with the shrimp... read more

The outdoor courtyard feels just like being in a European restaurant. Our food was very good. The wine we ordered was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. Total package makes it one of our favorites in Asheville, particularly, eating outside on a Summer evening.

We stumbled across Bouchon while walking Lexington and had very high hopes. It was an unforgettable average meal but service and atmosphere were wonderful. I started with a French onion soup that was average. It was ok, just nothing to really speak of. My wife had a salad that would have featured beets but the restaurant was out of beets.... More

Our instant feel with this place was Europe. Low-lighting, water on the table, etc. The wine and food was great as you would expect at this place, as well as the service. This place was also highly suggested by the concierge at the Grove Park. Definitely worth a trip.

Get the mussels and frites! Steak au poivre and lamb were also delicious. Our server was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable.

The ambiance of Bouchon makes you feel like you are dining in one of the bistros along St Germaine Blvd in Paris. And their mussels are fabulous.

My mom has been begging to visit for years and have the All You Can Eat Mussels, so we finally made the trip. We tried the Thai, PBR (Parisian Born Redneck), as wells as the two more traditional flavors with white wine and the other with tomatoes. Absolutely amazing. The PBR was our favorite, especially since they use Lusty Monk... More

Bouchon is a quaint, hole-in-the-wall little French bistro in Asheville. I'm a huge fan of French food, and was very excited to come and try this place out. The biggest negative of this place is there is no ability to get reservations. They don't do it. Which is totally fine... you just need to LITERALLY get there the minute it... More

Bouchon is an attractive setting for enjoying French cuisine and the menu offers a wide variety of items from which to choose. We sat at the bar and our server could not have been more attentive or charming; she made our meal far better than it would have been. My wife had the French onion soup which was good but... More
