Excellent in every respect. They do not take reservations and the restaurant is small. We ate there on a Tuesday and by 5:45, all the tables were taken. When we left at 6:30, the bar was full and people were standing waiting for a table. Food, service, etc., was excellent. There definitely will be a repeat visit whenever we're in... More

I went here with my family for the first time and I was not impressed with the all you can eat mussels. I'm a huge fan of mussels and these were very average. The variety was nice, but in felt that the broth of each was very watered down... Perhaps to compensate for the huge amount of mussels exiting the... More

What a wonderful dinner we had on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was crowded and noisy due to the holiday but we were able to enjoy our delicious meal and wonderful service. Our server was helpful and engaging. The food was to die for. We started with both appetizers (the fries and garlic bread) then moved on to the poached pear... More

Expect a long wait- but it is well worth it. We have our name and number at the hostess stand and were then able to roam the shops and local breweries nearby. Courteous service and wonderful food!

We stopped for lunch when walking the city center. The one waiter was moving constantly but was friendly and the food was of good quality with one exception, the escargot was amazing. After all the eating out we did while in Asheville my wife and I can still taste the escargot. If you go to Bouchon you have to try... More

This was a very nice place for dinner after a visit to Biltmore House. There were three of us and we all enjoyed our food. The only negative was from my friend that had French Onion soup & said it was nothing special. The value you get here is good for food & the house wine, and we hope to... More

We had come here one other time on a Saturday night and it was an hour and 45 minute wait so we left. We came back on a week night around 6pm and it was much better, no wait time. They do not take reservations so if it's a large party it could be a problem. The restaurant is very... More

We have eaten at Bouchon many times! It is ALWAYS delicious! They have absolutely THE BEST frites in the WORLD!!!!! I've had frites all over the world, & none compare! They're always crispy, salty & that seasoning is fabulous! They're good to the bottom of the cone, with no sauce! We've had almost everything on the menu at least once,... More

Loved this restaurant. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and wonderful food. All you can eat mussels prepared 5 different ways, available an Mon., Tues, and Wed. Don't miss 'em. All other French "comfort foods" also excellent, and reasonably priced for good french food. The house red wine was quite good, and very inexpensive ($15 for a bottle--a special, I think, usually...
