We went into this restaurant with high hopes - based both on the personal recommendation that sent us there and on the Trip Advisor reviews. The lamb and the rabbit were each OK. The peach melba dessert was not at all as described in the menu. The peaches were supposed to be grilled and they tasted "just out of the... More

We were visiting some friends in Asheville, and they recommended this restaurant. What a charming little place, and it was packed on a Monday night, but we were still able to get a table for five. This little gem was a very pleasant surprise. The food was all wonderful, from the salads to the entrée, no room for dessert. Wine... More

There was a bit of a wait when I visited in June BUT the wait is well worth it, I was seated outside in a back little "alleyway" which was absolutely wonderful. It was peaceful, quiet (especially compared to the noise and bustle of the indoor dining area), and comfortable (temperature-wise). Having never been to Paris, I can only imagine... More

After a long drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway including hiking, my wife & I arrived late into town on a Thursday evening; they seated us at 9:15 although they close at 9:30 & were very welcoming. We sat in the back outdoor portion of the restaurant designed like a street in France ( very romantic); the Trout Almondine &... More

The food ranged from average to very good. The escargot was good but lacked enough garlic to want you to ask for more bread. The steak au poivre was tender and very tasty with a perfect sauce. The fish soup lacked interest and the thyme chicken was so uninspiring that it was returned. The crab avocado was great as was... More

I love Bouchon. I don't even really like French food, and honestly the food is not what I love the most about this place. The atmosphere is so fantastic. It's conducive to a good time. Service is always good and I know that these guys are supporters of local businesses and local growers, which I also love. The owner makes... More

Little gem in Asheville. Eat in the back courtyard if the weather is good. My fave was a special soup: Watermelon gazpacho. Classic escargot perfection.

Ok. so this place was such a blast. We sat in the back of restaurant outside in an alleyway. Charming and if you blink you'll think your dining in France. The food was spectacular as we started with a pate of several different things. My steak was nice a little heavy handed on the garlic but we will let it... More

We ate here a year ago and loved it so returned since we were back in Asheville for the evening. We were not disappointed. The food was wonderful.... especially the Lamb Wellington. We were able to eat in the courtyard so everything was delightful......service, atmosphere and most important - the food. We will return whenever we find ourselves back in... More

Not knowing what to expect and knowing that they didn't take reservations, we ventured to downtown Asheville to Bouchon on a warm Tuesday night. First off, parking is a bear. After going around the block about 6 times we finally found a spot in a pay lot (on the corner of Lexington and Walnut) -- $2 an hour but it... More
