We showed up early (before 6 pm) and were seated right away...it is our understanding that you can have a lengthy wait on many nights. Our server was courteous and helpful with making choices for dinner. We had a cheese plate appetizer with a great bottle of wine before our steak poivre and lamb entrees were served. I cannot recall... More

Mussels n Frites were delicious. But the bread pudding stole my heart. Cozy atmosphere and great service.

Quaint French restaurant. The staff was terrific. The food was fabulous! Sat outside in area that reminded us of a back street in Paris.

This restaurant reminds you of a class Paris bistro, complete with the outdoor seating area that looks like a street side cafe in France. The dishes are flavorful, my husband had Mussels and I had the Lamb special, both were great. Good vibe, talked to fellow diners and met the owner. My husband is a French Chef and we have... More

What a wonderful little, cozy French restaurant! Britt was our waiter and took very good care of us. They have a great menu. The steak au poive with pomme frites was "to die for". We even considered going back for the same meal the next night. If you go there, if you don't get anything else, you must get the... More

I love French restaurants and this one is at the top of the list. The cheese plate appetizer was wonderful as was the avacado with crab meat. I had the special which was turkey. It was prepared as a tender cutlet with lemon/butter/caper sauce with brussell sprouts. I was there with several work associates and everyone equally enjoyed the dinner.... More

Bouchon’s continues to be one of our favorite dining places in Asheville. We have been going there for 5 years. The mussels (white wine, Parisian) are the best this side of Brussels! The owner needs to establish some guidelines as to the size of dogs allowed. It is a relatively small restaurant with narrow rows. Large shaggy dogs laying in... More

There are some places where the quality of food, level of service and general ambience come together to produce the perfect restaurant. We can't be alone in thinking this because how many restaurants do you know that are heaving by 6.00 pm. The Bouchon restaurant is all of this. And still 3 weeks later we are talking about it.
