It's not fancy, it's funky. That's Asheville for you. Corner Kitchen is a perfect match. She's not much to look at, but the food and service are first rate. Be sure to make reservations. Everyone loves this restaurant for any meal. The bar does a great job, too. If you're visiting the city, it's a "not to miss" restaurant. Many... More

This is our second time dining at The Corner Kitchen. We made a reservation, which I recommend. We were seated right away. We had two adults and two kids in our party. The kids menu had a lot of options. The meals were $6, but did not include drinks. That should be improved. Also, it would have been nice for... More

If you have to make a choice...go here! Warm, cozy and friendly place. The best trout you will ever have in this area...and Trout is not ever my first choice when I go to dinner in Asheville. Ask to sit upstairs in the fireplace room...very comfortable and relaxing. Tuesday's are half price wine bottles night...another great reason to head out... More

Stopped in to treat my mom to lunch before visiting the Biltmore. Service was spot on and food was delicious. The menu had enough variety to please all appetites. I had a hard time choosing.

If you haven't tried this restaurant it is well worth the time. It is very quaint and the food is absolutely some of the best in the area. The service is great an so is the people watching! Every time we are in Asheville we make a point of eating at the Corner Kitchen

On a chilly night, we were lucky enough to be seated in a cozy room with a fireplace. Our server, Elijah, was friendly, helpful and knew his menu. My husband and I split a bowl (large) of corn and crab chowder - it was rich and creamy, and we loved it. Next, we decided to split the herb roasted chicken,... More

The lines were long (strongly recommend reservations) but we were seated in a timely manner. Excellent food and service although with this many people in a small environment, The Corner Kitchen is not really conducive to intimate conversation. Our salads were bountiful and very fresh. The mani-mahi was cooked to perfection, very tender and flaky; the pork chops were large... More

We had earlier eaten a terrific lunch at the same owner's Chestnut restaurant in downtown Asheville, so decided to give Corner Kitchen a try. Loved the atmosphere and the food was very good.

Forget the fact that President Obama and the First Lady ate here a few years back. That's a nice thought and something to brag about back home, but really, it's about the food. Expect the line to be out the door and be sure to make a reservation. It's just a little house-turned-trendy-restaurant in Biltmore Village not far from the... More

Good food. Food wasn't hot. Sausage gravy biscuit and fried cheese grits. Husband got the Biscuit Bennies and said his food was good. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. Would go back. This was our 3rd visit.
