Our party of 7 had a 45 minute wait which was to be expected at a very busy place during a holiday week. Loved the fact that they had self serve coffee available for the wait. Delicious, rich and satisfying. The staff was very helpful in trying to get our large group a table as soon as possible -- not... more

Another great find thanks to this website!! You have to try the cornmeal hotcakes with orange zest--they were excellent!! My husband loved the sausage. We didn't have a long wait -- we went on a Sat. for brunch. Another Asheville favorite of ours was The Tupelo Honey Cafe (sweet potato pancakes here were my favorite!!)!! I would def. eat here... more

Best spot i have found in Asheville. Large portions of really good food at a fair price with local and organic ingredients is hard to find, but here you go....I even spied a garden out back and was told they run specials from it in season. Expect a wait, but a full restaurant is always a good sign. Take some... more

Diverse clientele add to the quirky ambiance of this very popular restaurant and for good reason. The food was delicious, healthy and abundant. Unfortunately its popularity can make for long waits but well worth it in my book. Went for brunch on Sunday. more

We enjoyed a late breakfast at Sunny Point Cafe. This is the Asheville that we were looking forward to visiting -- organic farm fresh food and an earth friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed my multigrain waffles that came with delicious whipped cream and tons of fresh fruit. My husband's Juevos Rancheros were unique and delicious. We both appreciated the vegetarian options.... more

Another extremely positive review for this place. Excellent sweet potato fries, locally made sausage, fried green tomato sandwiches, angel biscuits, and (homemade) Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich. We had a slic of Boston Cream Pie for dessert - excellent! more

Sunny Point is off the beaten path a bit, but if you're in the mood to escape the tourist scene, this is a great option. It's only 5-10 mins in the car from the dowtown area, and it is well worth the trip. They have a great outdoor patio, benches, rocks, etc. where you can wait for a table w/o... more

It has been a week and I still keep thinking about the cornmeal pancakes with orange zest. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. more
